Lines A hard and dangerous hike, as we noticed the other day offered us a night of dreams. The airglow was very active that night and as you may remember an older upright version of this perspective you will see that I decreased the amount of green. This photo is a 3 minute exposure at ISO1600 which I had in mind for the foreground of a sharp starry one to decrease noise but I truly like the short star trails in combination with all the lines in this scenery. ⠀ Weinbergtulpe ... .................................................⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Jedes Jahr versuche ich die Blüte einiger meiner liebsten wilden Blumen zu fotografieren und geniessen. Dieses Jahr hat es bei einigen nicht so gut funktioniert, das Wetter und der frühe Zeitpunkt der Blüte machten mir teils einen Strich durch die Rechnung. Umso mehr habe ich mich über die prächtige Blüte der Weinbergtulpen gefreut. Es ist ein wunderbarer Anblick wenn dieser Rebberg im goldenen Licht der Tulpen schon von weitem sichtbar ist. Am Tag der Aufnahme wurde meine Geduld besonders belohnt und die Sonne brach im letzten Moment nochmal unter dem Wolkenband hervor. Diese letzten Sonnenstrahlen verliehen der Szene einen magischen Touch… Schau dir unbedingt auch mein heutiges Reel zum Thema Makrofotografie an, es geht um einen spannenden Mythos 😉 Solltest du interessiert sein an einem Makro Workshop zum Thema „Makrofotografie mit dem Tele“, so hätte ich am diesen Sonntag noch zwei freie Plätze. ⠀ Kampf im Morgenlicht ... .................................................⠀⠀ Die Balz der Birkhähne hat auch dieses Jahr bereits begonnen und in den gesamten Alpen hört man wieder die typischen Gesänge der Hähne. Seit einigen Jahren besuche ich regelmässig verschiedene Balzplätze und versuche dieses Naturschauspiel zu dokumentieren. Einen ganz speziellen Moment zeigt dieses Bild von zwei kämpfenden Birkhähnen genau zur Zeit des Sonnenaufgangs. Keine Minute davor waren die beiden Streithähne noch komplett im Schatten und nur durch ihre Sprünge brachten sie sich selber ins goldene Licht der Sonne. ✨HARMONY✨ „Nur wo du zu Fuß warst, bist du wirklich gewesen.” [Johann Wolfgang v. Goethe] Es ist für mich ein unbeschreibliches Gefühl, ganz alleine am Ufer dieses malerischen Sees zu stehen und die harmonische Verbindung zwischen Bergen🏔️ und Wasser💦 zu betrachten. Es ist, als würde ich in einem riesigen, lebendigen Gemälde 🖼️ stehen. Ich hoffte auf einen schönen Sonnenuntergang 🌅 mit Bergen 🏔️und Spiegelung🪞 im See. Leider kam gegen Abend Wind🌬️ auf und zerzauste die Wasseroberfläche, sodass keine perfekte Spiegelung entstand, wie ich es mir gewünscht hätte. Auch der gewünschte Sonnenuntergang entfaltete leider nicht die zauberhafte Pracht, die ich mir erhofft hatte. Eiswelt ... .................................................⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Hättest du gedacht, dass diese Aufnahme im Juni entstanden ist? Ich konnte es ehrlich gesagt auch kaum glauben als ich vor ein paar Tagen das Bild im Archiv wiederentdeckt und neu bearbeitet habe. Was auf diesem Bild auch richtig auffällt, ist die Lichtverschmutzung über Mailand die bis weit in die Alpen sichtbar ist. Hier auf knapp 3500 Metern ist man aber in einer unglaublich klaren Luftschicht und die Sterne funkeln nur so um die Wette, trotz Lichtern rundherum… 📷🧊🇨🇭 #lukasmoeschphotography

Angefangen hatte der morgen relativ gut und die Hoffnung war da nach den privaten Anlässen, meine Kamera zu schnappen und los zu ziehen. Zu dem Zeitpunkt war auch die Weitsicht zu unseren Bergen sehr vielversprechend. Vom Wallis zurück am Nachmittag, nahm ich also meine Kamera und zog los.... Heute sollte es in die Region rund um den Thunersee gehen und als ich schlieslich dort ankam sah ich auch schon die dicke dunstartige Wolke immer weiter hervor drücken... Naja manchmal bekommt man nicht das, was man erhofft aber dennoch hats Spass gemacht und ein paar vielversprechende Punkte für die Zukunft gab es dann dennoch. Fast auf den Tag genau stand ich am 26.03.2016 zum ersten Mal an der Kapellbrücke. Damals rechnete ich ebenfalls mit einer fantastischen Morgenstimmung. Wie du auf dem zweiten Bild siehst, fehlte mir damals einiges an Erfahrung was das Wetter anbelangt. Auch beim Thema Bildbearbeitung liegen Welten zwischen 2016 und 2024. Das Bild von 2016 lade ich hier genauso hoch, wie es mir damals als vollendet erschien. Es tut gut hie und da durch das Archiv zu scrollen und solche fast vergessenen Momente nochmal zu erleben. Es ist dabei ebenfalls toll die eigenen Fortschritte 1:1 vergleichen zu können. Häufig vergisst man das und sucht in den neusten Werken nach Verbesserungspotenzial. Zumindest mir geht es immer wieder so und ich nerve mich jeweils wenn ich etwas „im Feld“ übersehen habe. Out of the Mist ... .................................................⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Als dieses Bild entstand war mein Fokus eigentlich auf etwas ganz anderes gerichtet, doch ich konnte nicht widerstehen dennoch ein Bild zu machen. Nach 1-2 Anläufen gelang es auch ohne Stativ eine scharfe Aufnahme mit 400mm zu realisieren. ⠀ Frühlingserwachen... .................................................⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Seit einigen Tagen strecken die Leberblümchen ihre zarten Blüten zum Himmel empor. Sie nutzen die Gunst der Stunde bevor die umliegenden Bäume und Sträucher ihre Blätter austreiben. Sobald das passiert, wird es auf dem Waldboden wieder dunkel. Mir gefällt diese Zeit im Wald besonders gut, denn die braunen Farbtöne harmonieren fantastisch mit dem zarten Lila der Leberblümchen. Es ist ein grosses Privileg ein solches Waldstück mit Blick zum Sonnenuntergang keine 10 Minuten vor der Haustüre zu haben. 📸🇨🇭🌺 #lukasmoeschphotography

Wunderwelt ... .................................................⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Bereits im Winter 2022 entdeckte ich diese Höhle in der Schweizer Bergwelt. Leider musste man sich da gut fünf Meter über eine Eiswand abseilen, was mir einen Besuch verunmöglichte. Umso gespannter war ich im letzten Oktober was nun aus der Höhle geworden ist und ich wurde extrem positiv überrascht! Ein solches Höhlensystem mit gut 70m begehbarer Länge hatte ich davor erst einmal gesehen. Bis Februar 2024 folgten 10 weitere Besuche, sechs davon mit meinen Workshop Teilnehmern. Es hat unglaublich Spass gemacht diese Höhle über einen solch langen Zeitraum zu beobachten, den Eissäulen beim wachsen zuzusehen und in die funkelnden Augen meiner Gäste zu blicken. Leider ist wie so häufig in den letzten Jahren ein regelrechter Hype ausgebrochen und die Höhle seit einigen Wochen fast rundum besucht. Ich bin froh durfte ich dieses Naturwunder in aller Ruhe geniessen und waren auf fast allen Workshops wenige bis keine anderen Touristen in der Höhle. Danke nochmal an alle die dabei waren und mich zu diesem Naturschauspiel begleitet haben, es hat irrsinnig viel Freude gemacht! Dieses Bild entstand auf einem privaten Workshop mit Outdoor Übernachtung bei knapp -20 Grad. Möchtest auch du gerne einmal so etwas erleben hast du mit mir die Möglichkeit dazu!
