Pastel dreams ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I can’t believe that in less than a month, I will be returning to my favorite place again. This is something that felt so far out of my reach earlier this year, and my physical therapist actually advised against pursuing the same goals I have set for myself. I heard this somewhere recently - “impossible is an opinion” - maybe that sounds cliche in some scenarios, but I do agree that no conclusion should be made until the very end with some other aspects as life unfolds itself before us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As I ramp up on my training again in preparation for summer, I am reminiscing some of my longer days in the mountains from dusk till dawn. Dreams are made for those who are willing to take the shot. This upcoming season will be filled with thrill and excitement, I just know it already.

Photos from a recent private trip to Iraq, where we took our guest to visit many of the key sites we take in on our Cradle of Civilisation group tours. Our October group trip is fully booked, however, we have a new set of dates in December on this route, which is available to book now. We begin in the capital Baghdad, then travel through the region bound by the Euphrates and the Tigris Rivers. We stop at ancient Sumerian remains at Ur, ancient Babylon and the UNESCO World Hertiage site at Samarra. We also have an immersive religious experience at two of the holiest locations for Shia Islam – Karbala and Najaf. Then we take in one of the country’s most impressive natural habitats, Iraq’s southern marshlands, experiencing some of the area by boat and seeing some of Saddam Hussein’s former palaces. Our next trip to Kurdistan, Northern Iraq, sets off in October this year and it’s bookable now. The fascinating cultural adventure delves deep into this diverse region, starting off in the city of Erbil – with its ancient Citadel, which is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities on earth and a UNESCO World Heritage site. We also visit the spiritual home of the Yazidi people in Lalish and explore the beautiful Rawanduz Canyon and surrounding mountains. We move on to the city of Duhok and the impressive walled down of Amedi, set amongst beautiful countryside. My only trip to #rockymountainnationalpark was in 2018 and I need to get back. In Rocky Mountain National Park, a change of weather can be just a short walk away and that it was. In the still of night, the valley is set aglow by prescribed burns, their warm light dancing through the trees and rippling across the tranquil waters of the Merced River. Sentinel Rock stands guard, a steadfast guardian of the landscape, while the celestial showcase of the Milky Way twinkles like diamonds in the velvet expanse above. В рамках 1-го этапа предусмотрено проведение стратегической сессии с участием органов федеральной и региональной исполнительной власти, а также представителей местного экспертного сообщества. Основной задачей является выявление уникального туристического продукта, потенциальных направлений и ключевых проблем в сфере развития туризма. Наш губернатор обратился с посланием в которой затронул тему развития туризма. Основные тезисы которые я отметил для себя: 1. Усьвинские столбы, водопад Плакун, Полюд , Ветлан и многие другие. Пермский край – настоящий кладезь невероятных природных маршрутов! 2. В 2023 году Пермский край посетило более миллиона туристов. 3. В туристической отрасли Прикамья большой спрос на санаторный и курортный отдых, показатель загрузки достигает 92%. Инвесторы готовы развивать это направление. 4. Также губернатор поставил Министерству туризма задачу представить предложения о мерах, стимулирующих развитие новых инвестиционных проектов в сфере санаторно-курортного лечения. 5. У Прикамья есть потенциал в развитии круизного туризма. В прошлую навигацию на 18% увеличилось число судозаходов в Пермь. 6. При участии госкорпорации «Туризм.РФ» реализуется крупный инвестпроект по развитию горнолыжного курорта в Губахе. Будут созданы новые трассы, построена гостиница на 80 номеров. 7. Благодаря грантовой поддержке предприниматели Прикамья создали 577 мест в гостиницах и других средствах размещения. Это в 5 раз больше, чем в 2022 году! ⊳ ᴄᴀʟᴅᴇʀᴀ ⊲ ∘ To było chłodne marcowe popołudnie na Fuercie. Porywisty wiatr bezpardonowo hulał po rantach kaldery wygrywając co rusz świstami i jękami niespokojne melodie. Ja, nieistotny i malutki, siedziałem sam w miejscu będącym jedynie powierzchownie wygładzoną blizną nieustannie przypominającą burzliwe okresy w geologicznej historii Wysp Kanaryjskich, tych kilku plam gruntu na bezkresie oceanicznego płótna. Wtem kontemplację mą przerwał dźwięk telefonu, zuchwale akompaniujący chaotyczną symfonię ruchów powietrza wijącego się pośród tuf, pumeksów i pyłów wulkanicznych. Zaniepokojony zerknąłem na wyświetlacz mojego Iphone’a i uświadomiwszy sobie, że to Radek i Adam znajdujący się po drugiej stronie kaldery, kilkadziesiąt metrów ode mnie, oddzieleni niemierzalną ilością powietrza, dzwonią do mnie, prawdopodobnie chcąc podzielić się swoimi emocjami wywołanymi przez to majestatyczne miejsce, odebrałem.
