עברו כמה ימים מאז הסופש' המשותף שלי עם הסטודנטים ממלגת "אתנחתא"(אשקלון) במקום הקדוש ביותר במדינה - Jerusalem ועדיין אין לי מילים לתאר את החוויה שעברתי🤍 אני רוצה להודות לכל העוסקים במלאכה על השבת הזאת ובמיוחד הרב יוני שדאג תמיד שתהיה לנו אווירה מהנה 24/7, הרגישו את קדושת השבת🕍 אישית היה לי קצת קשה לשמור שבת אבל ניסיתי את מיטבי ... בנוסף תודה לסולי אליאב מנכ"ל הקרן למורשת הכותל ( @western.wall ) על האירוח בבית הכנסת 'שערי תשובה' והזכות לעבור שם את תפילת קבלת השבת, הישיבה בעזרת נשים והקריאה יחדיו כ"משפחה" מזמורי תהילים ופיוטים היה מרגש ומעצם את הנשמה. הדת היהודית היא חידה לרבים (אני אחת מהם🖐🏻) ואני עדיין שואלת שאלות רבות ורוצה למצוא את הדרך האישית שלי אל המסורת וזאת עוד דרך ארוכה. עד אז אני רק אגיד שהנק' הכי חשובה בשבת הזאת לדעתי היה הFUN לעבור אותה ביחד עם כולם, להכיר אחת ת'שני יותר, לצחוק ולדבר - פשוט להתחבר כמשפחה אחת גדולה❕️❕️❕️ #אתנחתא #מלגה #ירושלים #הכותלהמערבי #ביתכנסת #ברכה #סטודנטים #שבתקודש #Scholarship #Jerusalem #TheWesternWall #Synagogue #Shabbat #장학금 #예루살렘 #서쪽벽 #회당 #안식일 #Иерусалим #Стена Запада #Синагога #Суббота

I came to #Israel during a war. For those of you asking “why?” The answer is clear. A “war” in Israel, is never just a war. It’s a turning point in history. It’s a moment in our nations journey toward becoming. And every “war” is an expression of some new light, some new wisdom, some new power and potential manifesting into the world. I came for 5 days in January, because I knew after months of screaming “bring them home”, first I needed to bring myself home. And then, I could understand. Israel is our home. It’s yours just as it is mine. HaShem - the creator of all - wants us home. He’s turned the entire world, Jews and non-Jews, toward Israel. And now that we’re here - in our hearts and minds, we’re ready for more. Ready for more miracles. For more clarity. For more promised truth. This “war” is not “another expression of conflict” it is HISTORY unfolding. It is the Jewish nation, the Torah, morality, peace, love, light, all coming to the surface. These are what we call the “end of days” the time of redemption, Geula, Moshiach. In this new time, we’ll feel peace. We’ll taste truth. We’ll live free, in love, unity, and connectedness. I came to Israel during a war, because I didn’t want to sit in my NYC apartment watching history unfold on social media. נחמה, תקוה ואמונה: לאחר שניצלו מהתופת בשמחת תורה משפחת תעסה מנתיב העשרה חגגה בר מצווה מרגשת בכותל המערבי משפחת תעסה מנתיב העשרה חוותה טרגדיה קשה כאשר אב המשפחה, גיל הי"ד נרצח בעת אשר קפץ על רימון שהושלך על ידי מחבלי החמאס לעבר המיגונית בה הסתתרו, ובכך הציל את חייהם של משפחתו- במותו הציל חיים. באותה שבת שחורה נרצח גם אחיו של קורן, אור הי"ד בחוף זיקים, בזמן שאם המשפחה, סבין, שהתה בחדר הממ"ד של הבית והגנה בגופה על שאר הילדים. את פני המשפחה קיבלו רב הכותל המערבי והמקומות הקדושים הרה"ג שמואל רבינוביץ שליט"א ומנכ"ל הקרן למורשת הכותל מר מרדכי (סולי) אליאב, אשר בירכו וחיזקו את החתן ובני המשפחה. רגע מרגש היה כאשר קורן התעטף בטלית הניח תפילין, ועלה לתורה, ויחד עם אימו בירכו את ברכת הגומל. עין לא נותרה יבשה נוכח המחזה המרגש של של אמא ובניה שניצלו ונותרו בחיים, עומדים מחובקים מול אבני הכותל מקום המעניק נחמה ותקוה ובליבם תפילה. בסיום התפילה בני המשפחה הדליקו נר זיכרון לזכר בני משפחתם שנרצחו הי"ד, וסיירו באתרי מנהרות הכותל כשהם יוצאים מחוזקים וטעונים באמונה ובתקווה לעתיד. #Israel #Jerusalem #חרבותברזל #thekotel #הכותל #יחדננצח #thewesternwall #Western_Wall #הכותל_המערבי #the_Western_Wall #הכותלהמערבי #prayer #תפילהבכותל

אני מרגישה שעשיתי פה מלא בילדאפ בנושא הזה ובסוף לא קרה כלום! אז שתדעו שעשיתי את אותו הדבר גם לעצמי🫠 ואני אסביר - מאז הציור של המפלצת נשאר לי בראש שנורא בא לי לעשות איזה פרוייקט שעוסק בירושלים, אני אוהבת את העיר הזאת ואני מרגישה שיש בה הזדמנות מפוספסת להיות גם *קצת* מגניבה (קצת כמו שתל-אביב והאסטטיקה שלה הפכה לאיזה סמל פופ ישראלי) ואז פתאום לפני שבועיים ראיתי "קול קורא" לפסטיבל אמנות מוכר בירושלים ששם דגש על יצירה מקומית, וחשבתי שזו תהיה הזדמנות מושלמת לפרוייקט ירושלים שלי! אבללל הדד ליין להגשה של היצירות היה חמישה ימים מאותו הרגע לונג סטורי שורט נכנסתי להיסטריה של לא להפסיק ליצור עד לרגע ההגשה, פספסתי שינה (ושיעורי נהיגה!) בשביל להספיק להגיש משהו סביר בזמן *ולא התקבלתי* בפני עצמו זה לא אמור לבאס אותי מדי, להגיש קולות קוראים ולא להתקבל זה חלק הכרחי מיומיום של כל אמן (כןכן🥲) אבל התאכזבתי מעצמי שנתתי לזה כל כך להוציא אותי מאיזון למה אני משתפת את זה? קודם כל כי אני חושבת שחשוב לשתף גם ב"כשלונות", כל התהליך הוא חשוב וככה גם תהיו הרבה יותר שמחים איתי בהצלחות😊 וגם כי אני חושבת שההיסטריה לסיים בחמישה ימים הוציאה ממני עבודות ממש טובות! ומשמח אותי לדעת שזה ככה אז השבוע אשתף כאן את הפרוייקט ירושלים שהתחלתי (חלק ראיתם בסטורי וחלק לא), ומבטיחה שמתישהו בקרוב עוד נסתובב כאן עם אקססוריז ירושלמיים במיוחד 🩷 #הכותל #ירושלים #israeliart #artist #ציורים #popupcard #Jerusalem #thewesternwall #אמנותישראלית #אמנות #השראה #תלאביב #israel

מכפר עזה לירושלים: ילדי כפר עזה חגגו בר ובת מצווה מרגשת בכותל המערבי במהלך סוף השבוע התרגשנו לארח את ילדי קיבוץ כפר עזה שעברו זוועות בלתי נשכחות בשבת שמחת תורה השביעי לאוקטובר, שהגיעו לחגיגת בר ובת מצווה מרגשת בכותל המערבי. את פניהם קיבלו רב הכותל המערבי והמקומות הקדושים הרה"ג שמואל רבינוביץ שליט"א ומנכ"ל הקרן למורשת הכותל מר מרדכי (סולי) אליאב אשר בירכו אותם לרגל הגעתם לגיל תורה ומצוות, חיזקו אותם על הימים הקשים שעברו ואיחלו להם שיוכלו לחזור במהרה לביתם לשלום. בטקס מרשים ומרגש קיבלו חתני בר המצווה זוג תפילין ועלו לתורה בבית הכנסת במנהרות הכותל, ובנות הבת מצווה קיבלו פמוטים ושרשרת עם חריטה של הכותל המערבי והתכנסו יחד להפרשת חלה משותפת והדלקת נרות. בסיום הטקס נשאו כולם יחד תפילה ובקשה על אחינו החטופים, הלוחמים בשטח ועל עם ישראל כולו. לאחר התפילה הנערים והנערות סיירו ב'מבט אל העבר' באמצעות משקפות מציאות מדומה, וצפו במיצג החדש שיפתח בקרוב לציבור הרחב. #הכותל_המערבי #תפילהבכותל #חרבותברזל #Israel #the_Western_Wall #יחדננצח #Jerusalem #הכותל #thewesternwall #thekotel #prayer #Western_Wall #הכותלהמערבי #ברמצווה #בתמצווה

למה בכה נשיא ארגנטינה בביקורו בכותל? בראיון שנערך עם הרב ואחניש שמיועד להיות שגריר ארגנטינה בישראל בעיתון ג'רוזלם פוסט סיפר הרב כי פגש את חאביר מיילי, נשיא ארגנטינה, לפגישה שהייתה אמורה להיות 15 דקות אך נמשכה כשעתיים בו דיברו "דיבורים שמיימיים" לדבריו. באותה פגישה במתנ"ס היהודי דלקה טלוויזיה עם שידור חי מהכותל המערבי. הרב ואחניש שאל את מיליי אם ביקר בכותל, כשזה השיב בשלילה הרב הבטיח שיקח אותו לביקור. הבטחה זאת נשמרה "זאת הייתה הבטחה שתמיד נזכרה... מכאן ואילך הוא התחיל לומר שיש לו רב ומדריך רוחני" סיפר. הטיול המיוחל נדחה פעמים רבות בגלל עומס עבודתו של הנשיא, אך כשנבחר היה לו ברור כי ביקורו הדיפלומטי הראשון יהיה לישראל. לאחר ש-21 מחבריהם נפלו בעזה הגיעו לוחמי גדוד 8208 לכותל המערבי, לשאוב כוחות להמשך הלחימה זכינו לארח את גדוד מילואים 8208, שהגיעו אלינו, לאחר שלחמו בגזרת כסופים שבעוטף עזה כבר ארבעה חודשים, והיו חלק מפעילות בה קרסו המבנים בעזה שם נפלו 21 לוחמים הי"ד, חברים שלחמו איתם כתף אל כתף. הלוחמים הגיעו ליום חינוך ומסורת, והפוגה בכותל המערבי, בכדי לשאוב כוחות מהשורשים והמקורות של העם היהודי, ולהתרענן להמשך הלחימה. After 21 of their comrades fell in Gaza, the soldiers of Battalion 8208 arrived at the Western Wall to draw strength for the continuation of the fight. We were privileged to host reserve soldiers of Battalion 8208 who arrived at the Western Wall after fighting in the Kissufim area of the Gaza Envelope these past 4 months. They took part in the action in which buildings collapsed, and 21 soldiers, friends with whom they had fought shoulder to shoulder, lost their lives. The Deputy President was welcomed by the Western Wall Rabbi, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, and the Director of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, Mr. Mordechai (Suli) Eliav, who explained to her the significance of the site to the Jewish people and its historical importance across generations. During the visit, she prayed alongside the stones of the Western Wall, toured the Western Wall Tunnels, and signed the guestbook, She also lit a candle in memory of those killed in the Iron Swords war. At the end of the visit, the Deputy President said, "I learned a lot about the history of Jerusalem and the impact that Jerusalem has on the entire world. I made this journey to show the peace that exists between the walls of Jerusalem.
