Next up in the Graveyard Series is Brock. I remember loading this plane when I used to hump boxes for #Fedex back in the day. The name is easily recalled due to remembering the “Brock Lovett” character in the movie #Titanic. Anyway, he was delivered to #ContinentalAirlines in April of 1974. That puts this plane right in the build time for the McDonnell-Douglas’s bulk cargo door scandal which killed 346 people. By the way, McDonnell-Douglas runs Boeing now and their Max scandal also killed 346 people, allegedly. N68052 was taken up by FedEx in 1983 where he performed well until being stored in 2015. Like his sister in the previous post, Brock was only to be stored but was subsequently abandoned and broken up. #RIP Brock. Muzeum świetnie oddaje wnętrza statku 🤩 Nie jest może jeden do jednego, ale ścieżka zwiedzania prowadzi przez różne części, mozna zobaczyć jak wyglądały kajuty w różnych klasach, co widział kapitan, co robiły dzieci na statku, jakie atrakcje czekały... 👨✈️ Poznajemy pasażerów statku, zarówno tych co przetrwali jak i tych którym sie nie udało. Wallace Hartley played in the Titanic band as the ship sank. His violin sold for £1.1 million in 2013. Now it's case, found strapped to his recovered body in 1912, is coming to auction in Devizes, Wiltshire, today — it would be nice if it could be reunited with the violin! 13/2/2023 最近想写下一点文字。情绪和感受依然强烈而细腻，却下意识地找不到形容词去刻画细节。三个多小时的电影把所有记忆从脑海中抽出、平铺再对接：上学到现在，音容、气味、画面、情绪我都记得！抵抗的，期待的，未变过！ 这次在大荧幕上重看，被许多细节打动，连创作者的一举一动也能察觉。疫情、地震的现实让船上的故事触发了深深的共情。这感觉很奇妙：共情的同时又能抽离地开启第三视角。 灾难来临，“我们在同一条船上”。船是人造的梦，冰山是突发的偶然。灾难变成现实缺口：阶层藩篱松动，文化价值做出选择。如何接受并迎接死亡?相拥的老夫妇、给孩子讲睡前故事的母亲、带领众人祈祷的牧师、觉得已活够而放弃逃生的老绅士、继续演奏的乐手、选择和船一起下沉的设计者……这和“活下去，像牲口一样活下去”还是有些不同。相同的是———有趣的发现：大难前，不是先告知，而是放烟花，异常喜庆！神话和寓言的原型从没被打破，历史都没有意义了，恐惧和期待的真空。 Jack和Rose的爱情被再次认可了：不是幻觉，不是无处安放的荷尔蒙，不是沦为工具人的消遣与逃避，是互相的看见，是深深的祝福，是毫无保留的付出，是勇敢的创造现实。“如常”的现实由他人的欲望塑造：暴力机器、阶级藩篱、攻击恶意、柴米油盐……恐惧无孔不入。恐惧到达极致，会向爱开枪。 爱是忆起、是馈赠、是降临、是真实。爱情是创造现实的动力和信心！创造现实才能阻止恐惧渗透。一切有安排、可选择！ #海運戲院 #titanic
