In fact, Effortless Meditation is PERFECT for people with busy minds 🌱 The aim of Effortless Meditation is not to try and quiet your mind and control your thoughts. While there are some meditation practices where this is the case, the Effortless Meditation technique is not one of them. A whole host of biological changes take place during meditation: 🪷our breath becomes slower, softer and quieter as our body’s internal regulation shifts to controlling our breathing by the amount of oxygen we need 🪷We become deeply relaxed with the degree of relaxation being at least twice as deep as what occurs during the deepest part of sleep It is common that we will have a lot of thoughts, and sometimes a certain amount of mental, emotional or physical agitation during Effortless Meditation. Sometimes, during an Effortless Meditation practice, our minds may fill with ongoing thoughts constantly occurring. This is common and normal. The good thing to know, is that the biological changes such as: 🪷patterns of brainwaves 🪷changes in blood chemistry 🪷changes in oxygen consumption 🪷levels of relaxation all occur no matter what.
