Because of this customer case was surfaced and it left a step I decided to cut some extra clearance at the base of each barrel. This kept the barrel from rocking on the inserts area. I see a lot of this on builds and also when barrel spacers are used and not checked how they sit. Engine building 101, assume everything is wrong so that way you check it and find the problems.
