Ein Seecontainer im Wald? 🤔 Nachdem das alte Futterhaus am #damwildgehege in #grevesmühlen durch Brandstiftung einem Feuer zum Opfer gefallen war, dient der #cointainer nun als provisorisches Futterlager. 17 Jahre lang schipperte der Container vorher ständig über die Weltmeere und transportierte die unterschiedlichsten Waren zwischen den Kontinenten hin und her. Ein orangefarbiger #hapaglloyd Cointainer passt leider nicht wirklich in den #wald, also wurde es ein grüner #uasc Container. Dieser passt besser in die (Wald)Landschaft! Wie auf den Bildern zu erkennen ist, hat das Damwild das grüne Futterlager schon gut angenommen. Außerdem, abfackeln wird den Stahlcontainer so schnell keiner! Meet our Director for To Build a Bigger Table; Carlota Matos (she/her) @carlota___matos Carlota is a Portuguese theatre and performance artist based in Bristol and working internationally. With a focus on access and social change, her practice often explores themes of migration, belonging, and mental ill-health, in the form of documents theatre or partipatory performances. Carlota frequently works with diverse communities and people who are not necessarily trained or experienced performers. She had directed/ facilitated for organisations such as Local Learning/ Lightbox Theatre, Many Minds, Travelling Light, and Bristol Old Vic. Carlota is part of Future Laboratory, a project of research residences throughout Europe to identify missing narratives on our stages. She completed an Arts Council DYCP to scale up her work, and was commissioned by Counterpoints for Platforma Festival 2023. She I'd currently working in partnership with Bristol-based charity Borderlands, on a project with migrant women which addresses language barriers and explores identity. She is also developing a piece about Portuguese migration with Les Théâtres de le Ville de Luxembourg to Talent-LAB festival in June 2024. Οι επαγγελματίες παιδικής προστασίας της Κινητής Μονάδας του #Streetwork της #ΑΡΣΙΣ στη Θεσσαλονίκη, εκτός από τις συνοδείες των παιδιών σε κατάλληλες δομές φιλοξενίας, εργάζονται στην πρώτη γραμμή, πραγματοποιώντας καθημερινές παρεμβάσεις και δράσεις προσέγγισης της κοινότητας ομοεθνών των παιδιών στον αστικό ιστό της πόλης. Πολλές είναι οι φορές που η Κινητή Μονάδα πραγματοποιεί τέτοιου είδους παρεμβάσεις και σε γύρω περιοχές εκτός Θεσσαλονίκης, αλλά και άλλες πόλεις της Βόρειας Ελλάδας. Η ομάδα μας πρόσφατα επισκέφτηκε την πόλη της Βέροιας, της Αλεξάνδρειας και το χωριό της Νέας Καβάλας καταβάλλοντας κάθε δυνατή προσπάθεια να εντοπίσει ασυνόδευτα παιδιά στο δρόμο, σε πάρκα ή εγκαταλελειμμένα κτίρια ή παιδιά που ίσως να διαμένουν σε άλλες επισφαλείς συνθήκες. Φεύγοντας από τις περιοχές αυτές, φρόντισε να αφήσει ενημερωτικό υλικό για το έργο του ΕΜΕΑ που σε συνεργασία με την ΑΡΣΙΣ προστατεύει κάθε ασυνόδευτο παιδί που το έχει ανάγκη. Η ΑΡΣΙΣ- Κοινωνική Οργάνωση Υποστήριξης Νέων υλοποιεί ένα εξειδικευμένο έργο με στόχο την ενίσχυση του περιβάλλοντος προστασίας των ασυνόδευτων και χωρισμένων από την οικογένειά τους παιδιών σε επισφαλείς συνθήκες στη Βόρεια Ελλάδα αποτελώντας επιχειρησιακό εταίρο του Εθνικού Μηχανισμού Επείγουσας Ανταπόκρισης (ΕΜΕΑ). Η Κινητή Μονάδα του #Streetwork της #ΑΡΣΙΣ στη Θεσσαλονίκη, μετέφερε με ασφάλεια ακόμα έναν ασυνόδευτο ανήλικο σε Δομή Επείγουσας Φιλοξενίας. Ο 17χρονος Salah κατάγεται από τη Συρία. Οι επαγγελματίες της ομάδας μας, τον παρέλαβαν από το Τμήμα Διαχείρησης Μετανάστευσης Μυγδονίας κατόπιν παραπομπής για στέγαση από τον ΕΜΕΑ. Επρόκειτο για ένα αρκετά ταλαιπωρημένο παιδί, που κατά τη διάρκεια του ταξιδιού του ως εδώ, υπέστη πολλές δυσκολίες. Μέσα από τη διαρκή συνεργασία της ΑΡΣΙΣ και του ΕΜΕΑ ο Salah λαμβάνει τις κατάλληλες υπηρεσίες, έχει πλέον πλαισιωθεί και διαμένει σ’ ένα προστατευμένο περιβάλλον. *Το όνομα έχει αλλάξει για λόγους προστασίας. Meet Joyce, one of our incredible Foster Carers, who is fostering two young boys. Despite not being Muslim herself, Joyce has helped nurture their cultural identity, especially during #Ramadan. 😊⭐️ Here's a snippet of what Joyce shared about their journey: "I grew up in Ireland, so straight away I thought, what did I want when I came over to England? I wanted to find my tribe. So, for me the first thing I could see was that one of the boys was very religious, and I thought, well I was very Catholic when I first came over. And it was something from home that I was familiar with. So, I said to him, "Would you like to go to a Mosque?" and he said, "Oh yes please!" I always made so much more food during Ramadan so they could eat through the night. At the end of Ramadan, the boys had gifts. In addition we listen to different music in the car too, we take it in turns so on the way out we'll play Iranian Persian rap music and, on the way back, we'll put on Afghan music." To #InfoDesk του προγράμματος Εντοπισμού και Υποστήριξης Ασυνόδευτων Ανηλίκων #Streetwork της ΑΡΣΙΣ στη Θεσσαλονίκη είναι ένα, κατάλληλα διαμορφωμένο, φιλόξενο μέρος, όπου τα παιδιά μπορούν να χαλαρώνουν νιώθοντας ασφάλεια και να απολαμβάνουν διάφορες ψυχαγωγικές δραστηριότητες όσο περιμένουν να διεκπεραιωθούν τα αιτήματά τους. Πολύ συχνά, παιδιά διαφόρων ηλικιών και εθνικοτήτων, με διαφορετικές ανάγκες και αιτήματα το καθένα, συναντιόνται εδώ και αλληλεπιδρούν μεταξύ τους. Στο στιγμιότυπο της φωτογραφίας, τα βλέπουμε να παίζουν PlayStation. Πρόκειται για δύο 17χρονα παιδιά από τη Συρία και το Αφγανιστάν, ένα παιδί 16 χρόνων από την Αίγυπτο, καθώς κι έναν νεαρό ενήλικα Αιγύπτιο που παραπέμφθηκε σε άλλη αρμόδια υπηρεσία στήριξης από την ομάδα μας. Η ΑΡΣΙΣ- Κοινωνική Οργάνωση Υποστήριξης Νέων υλοποιεί ένα εξειδικευμένο έργο με στόχο την ενίσχυση του περιβάλλοντος προστασίας των ασυνόδευτων και χωρισμένων από την οικογένειά τους παιδιών σε επισφαλείς συνθήκες στη Βόρεια Ελλάδα αποτελώντας πππ8επιχειρησιακό εταίρο του Εθνικού Μηχανισμού Επείγουσας Ανταπόκρισης (ΕΜΕΑ).
