Dennis Longo is being honored with the Award of Distinction at the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony this year! Dennis has set six National Records, six Southern Regional Records, and five Florida State Records. He has missed only one National Championship since 1975! We have so many thank you's to send after a fantastic D1 Nationals tournament over the next couple of days. First and foremost, we want to thank @lakecityskiers for being such fantastic hosts! Thank you Randy and Tracey Patrick for literally opening your back yard to us! Thank you Jake Wilson for all of your coordination with parking and camping! Thank you Scott and Scott for running sound for individuals and being available to all of the sound crews, ready to help with anything and everything that was needed! Thank you to those who shuttled people from the parking area to the stadium! Thank you to everyone who spent the weekend grilling, working in the concession stand, selling and taking meal tickets, etc. The flow was fantastic and everything went so smoothly! Thank you to every single member of the Lake City Skiers for your incredible hospitality all weekend long! You were so welcoming to everyone and ready to drop whatever you were doing to help with anything and everything that was needed. You all represent our sport in the best way possible. Freestyle is back! The athletes of the #mastercraftboats Freestyle Pro Comp threw down and handily took a seat at the competitive 3 event table on Lake Grew this weekend. Smashing congratulations to name-to-watch Flyman skier @caleducane22 for bringing home the silver. Make sure to remember that name, this 17 year old means business and brought a solid mobe and back half on @nick_lyman 's borrowed personal one ski after the airlines lost his equipment. If you don't know Cale Ducane's name, you do now. All of our friends are our favorites, but we think @petehegarty deserves an award or something, who wins a Shoe Out on Friday night and then takes home the big money on Saturday afternoon?! 4th and final day on Lake Wazeecha for WI State. We had to move one team from yesterday to today because of lightning delays, but that showed me again just how special our sport is. We were delayed about 3 hours yesterday, and despite that, we almost repacked the parking lot last night after so many left because of the weather. That’s what’s so special about show skiers- we show up and support each other no matter what.
