Bluebells!! We moved from city to country in January, a massive declutter & downsize and we both agree, we don’t miss a thing. Yes it’s further to all amenities, yes popping out for coffee is harder (and a pint for Mr4F) or a trip to the gym, and work is a longer journey but, oh what we’ve gained. Fresh air, open skies, bird song, nature, post work walks and now spring has sprung the most awesome bluebell wood! Laundry day and kaffeeklats Een prachtig stukje natuur met geweldig uitzicht over de kliffen van Portugal. De branding is overweldigend en de fotocamera maakt overuren. Het zonnetje schijnt dus ff tijd voor een klein handwasje met daarna een lekkere kaffeeklats van Thomas. Wat wenst een mens nog meer. Eindelijk weer eens een plekkie waar we eenvoudig gelukkig zijn in de natuur. Helaas… kwam de politie roet in het eten gooien en moesten we in de avond verkassen. Er stond ergens een bord; verboden voor caravans, die heben we niet dus we mogen hier parkeren. Oke meneer agent, geen discussie we gaan weg. Vanlife is een zeer populaire levensstijl geworden. Veel jonge mensen kiezen voor een reizend bestaand in een minimalistisch rijdend huisje. Deze groeiende groep krijgt steeds minder mogelijkheden door restricties van parkeerplaatsen. Een parkeerplaats in de natuur, rust en weg van de samenlevingen, woonwijken en verkeer. Het lijkt steeds moeilijker te worden om deze plekken te vinden door restricties van overheid. Crozon circus Het is een mooi schiereiland Crozon maar compleet verzuurd door toerisme. De natuur heeft te lijden van de honderden natuurliefhebbers die hier rond wandelen. Wij konden maar moeilijk een rustige parkeerplaats vinden vanwege alle restictieborden. We dachten een rustige slaapplek gevonden te hebben. Helaas bleek dat niet het geval want om 6.30 kwam een politieman ons waarschuwen dat we daar niet mogen staan, van 02.00 tot 7.30. Oke, bus klaarmaken en vertekken naar het dorpje Camaret-sur-Mer waar we aan de straatkant nog in een uurtje een klein hazeslaapje hebben gemaakt. Dit is een prachtig land maar écht te veel campers op de hotspots. Dit zijn vooral fransen met de nieuwste campers die vakantie vieren. Voor ons zijn dit dus de plekken die we moeten gaan overslaan want dat geeft te veel onrust om nog te kunnen genieten. No camping En zo kom je terug van een idillische strandwandeling en staat je bus opeens op een camping. Staat je voortuin vol met witte torenhoge campers. Iets waar we zelfs zo’n hekel aan hebben. Ik hou van delen, maar om je voor onze huisdeur breed te maken met tafels, stoelen en parasol is ronduit respectloos. Het heet ‘wild’parkeren en niet wildkamperen. Dit gedrag zorgt voor veel problemen in de gemeentes die eindigen met verbodsborden op de mooiste plekjes.
