I had a great day painting at West Acres Mall yesterday. I created these two paintings. It is always daunting at first, because in my process, I paint in layers, and sometimes those first layers are not very pretty. I just know that if I keep going, I will create something I like. I am happy with how they turned out. I still marvel at starting with a blank white canvas, and bringing something new into existence. It has been so much fun being part of the artist in residence program for Gallery 4 at West Acres. Stop in and visit.
