Cowboy romance recommendations
In celebration of recently reading and loving Rootbound it’s time to share some cowboy romances! These are ones I’ve read and really enjoyed:
📚 Done and Dusted by Lyla Sage
Starting off the Rebel Blue Ranch Series (currently incomplete) Done and Dusted is a brother’s best friend romance that is a good quick read.
📚 Heartless and Reckless (from the Chestnut Springs series) by Elsie Silver
If you’re on romance bookstagram or booktok I’m sure you’ve seen the Chestnut Springs series. My personal favourites are Heartless and Reckless, both are grumpy / sunshine romances (a trope I adore). The series is complete, so you can read all the stories following the Eaton brothers without waiting!
📚 Hands Down by Mariana Zapata
As it was the Super Bowl yesterday you may want an American football crossover. Zac is a cowboy hat wearing Texan quarterback (who I love). It is also an estranged friends-to-lovers romance slow burn, and a standalone.
📚 Rootbound by Tarah Dewitt
The book that inspired this post! Read it not just for the funny moments but the deep ones too. This book is a standalone and a book I’ll be rereading in the future.
