⭐️3/3 IS TRIDAY!⭐️ International Triday is a day to celebrate all the tripaws and their stories. Little Girl's story began before she was even born. As soon as I heard about an expected litter, wheels started turning to get them into rescue. After they were born I found out one was missing a leg. It was love at first sight when I saw her. She was missing half of her front leg but to me she was perfect. She was 6 weeks old and flopped around like a little fish. She's the runt of the litter. She hadn't figured out how to navigate the world with her stump yet. I consulted with 2 vets who both concluded that she lost her leg during or shortly after birth. Almost 5 years later, her stump doesn't keep her down. She has a few challenges, like jumping high, but she runs like the wind. She's a tiny little thing and often uses her stump to antagonize the other cats or to smack me in the face to wake me up. When she was a baby, there was a possibility that she'd need a full amputation but her stump gives her no issues. She's different, not defective, and beautiful the way she is. Tripawds are just as amazing and active and loving as 4 legged cats. To celebrate Triday, I got her a food puzzle.
