35km løb i ugen blev der til - næstsidste uge inden #cphmarathon 😳 næsten uvirkeligt. Den kommende uge bliver ‘Nice an easy’, ned i intensitet og korte ture - med plads til temposkift. Og mobilitetstræning 🤸🏻♀️ To gange har jeg løbet CPH Marathon før - eller… det troede jeg. Men fandt så ud af, at der er faktisk fjerde gang jeg løber den; 2017, 2018, 2019 og så nu 2024. Hvordan kan man glemme sådan noget!? 🤓 Men også denne gang har jeg erfaret at jeg ELSKER at forberede mig til noget, selve processen er vildt berigende - måske det bedste af det hele. ISÆR hvis man har en coach på. Derfor glæder jeg mig til det næste mål, som allerede er på tegnebrættet. Her vil jeg forhåbentlig igen få hjælp fra den bedste ultracoach Mette Birk Jensen @mettebirk.ultra hun er i hvert fald advaret 🤩🥳 I ugen blev jeg kontaktet af det privathospital, som behandlede min skade fra 2021. De vil gerne lave en case på mit forløb. Det er jeg virkelig glad for. Jeg håber nemlig, at det giver de atleter, som har alvorlige skader håb og vilje til at komme ovenpå igen. Der kan hentes en del læring i et langt skade forløb. Man møder sig selv på en sund måde; sårbar og ud af kontrol, hvor ens identitet bliver udfordret. Troen og viljen får en god rodfæste og det kan i den grad hjælpe i svære situationer generelt i livet. Die Tage werden endlich wieder wärmer und heller. Dieses wechselhafte Wetter im April kann ich echt nicht ab: mal kalt, mal warm, dann Regen, dann wieder Sonne. Puh, dass ist echt anstrengend, aber was will man machen, dass Wetter kann eben nicht beeinflussen. Dennoch, freue ich mich auf die kommenden Tage: Es soll endlich wieder warm werden. Am meisten freue ich mich, aber auf den schönen klaren Himmel. Ich habe es schon als Kind geliebt in den Himmel zu schauen und nachzudenken. Es hat etwas beruhigendes für mich. Außerdem, gibt mir diese kleine Erfahrung immer das Gefühl, dankbar zu sein. Den oft machen wir uns Gedanken über das, was wir haben wollen und/oder nicht haben können, anstatt einfach dankbar zu sein für dass, was man hat. Irgendwie holt mich diese kleine Metapher auf den Boden der Tatsachen zurück, haha. Ach so, dass Lied im Hintergrund, gehört, seit ich Kind war, zu meinen Lieblingsliedern. Es nicht ganz das Original (hab’s hier nicht gefunden), aber im Grunde, ist es fast das Gleiche, haha. Dieses Lied hat für mich bis heute etwas Beruhigendes an sich. Happy Saturday my lovie doves. How is everyone doing today?? Here in SW Michigan, it's a gorgeous day. I woke up at 8 am to 63-degree weather which is glorious, did my PT exercises, and mowed the lawn. These pictures were taken last Sunday when we went to bow in the clouds, which is right down the road, haha. I love those woods and trails to walk in and can't wait til later when we go for another mile walk. Grill some chicken and have such a chill day. Wishing everyone a lovely, chill, no chaos, no drama Saturday. 😘😘😘😘 I hope you all look in the mirror this weekend and tell yourself how beautiful and worthy you are just the way YOU are right NOW, not ten years ago or what you'll become in five years or anything in-between. We all matter!! I feel so thankful for all that I have, which to most people isn't much. I have a small house in a low-income area, drive older cars and have minimal amounts in the bank, LOL #reallife but I'm able to love and be loved and that's all that matters is your intrinsic happiness. Yes, some days are harder to pull it out than others, but we can get strength from each other. It's sad at the same time for all that I have and others are watching their families die, starve or other horrific things that I can't begin to imagine how the trauma must feel.
