Now I'm learning the finer points of slo-mo, such as I can now pick specific portions of the video as well as adjusting the speed, and instead of just once per video clip, I can have multiple separate sections of slo-mo within a single clip. 4.5. These two clips are continuations from the same video, so the music is the same. 7. This video clip is regular speed with no music, just natural sounds. 13.14. So I was asleep at 9:30 last night, a rare early sleep for me. So I missed all those beautiful northern light colors from last night. But I got up very early and it was foggy, I love fog. Animal Signs 5: "Deer Crossing", and "Black Weasel & Water Reflections" 動物注意 5: 「鹿の横断」、と 「黒いイタチと水の反射」 🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞 Some of these deer crossing signs have "NIGHT DANGER"⚠️ written above and below the picture. I couldn't find them in time for thus post but I have a quick story. When I was younger, these signs that I saw read "NIGHT DANCER"🕺💃that had a picture of a deer. So I thought that was a old time fancy name for deer because they were so elegant. Turns out I think it was a prank by changing the capital "G" to a "C" 😂 there were at least 2 of these I've seen and they're still up somewhere. On my racine/forest walks, for the second time I encountered a small black Weasel type creature along side the stream. We stood for a few seconds watching each other and then it ran away when I said "hi". The other black Weasel I saw was in a different town and forest stream. I happened to have brought cat food with me for the squirrels, so I left a pile of food on a rock in the stream for it. I've talked to many nature-walkers along the way, and none of them have seen the weasel but delighted to hear of it. I just didn't tell anyone the exact location because that would be more stress for this animal which has been super effective at hiding. Mount Temple There is something magical in the Canadian Rockies…I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to travel a lot in my life. I have seen a lot of the world. Enough to finally understand how incredible it is here in Western Canada. Something I maybe took for granted when I was younger and dreaming of far away places. But even then the pull of these places was like gravity to me. Time off, long weekends, any excuse to drive to the mountains and seek out these mountains. After time, you come to know the peaks. Some from climbing to the summit, some from photographing them time and again in different conditions. The images become almost like portraits of friends…. And like any good portrait, the lighting is everything. The incredible 3544m Mount Temple. And, while I have stood on top of it, this spot is my favourite view… This shot is from my slide film archives as I slowly digitize them. A Nikon F4 with a 24mm lens and Fujifilm Velvia 50!
