One of my favorite things about “Last Night in Soho” is how it approaches #nostalgia. Lead character Eloise’s love of the aesthetics of the ‘60s slowly turning to horror as she sees the hidden darkness of the period is a fascinating way to critique a rose-colored glasses view of past decades.

J'y ai découvert des séries télévisées dont j'ignorais jusqu'à l'existence... "Mrs Bradley Mysteries" en fait partie... Basée sur les romans policiers de Gladys Mitchell et mettant en vedette la merveilleuse Diana Rigg ("Chapeau melon et bottes de cuir"), la très courte série (5 épisodes) racontait les enquêtes d'une lady sur différents meurtres... Très Agatha-Christesque, l'émission, réalisée entre 1998 et 2000, venait combler un vide entre deux grandes saisons de "Poirot" qui, dès 2002, reprenait du service... Néanmoins, l'atmoshère très "Annés folles" a encore son charme aujourd'hui.
