This week on our Main Show, we're coming out of the woods, and leaving our 'Off the Grid' theme behind us. All month, we were chatting about films where the protagonists chose to go live in the woods--without any Wi-fi. For episode #170, we chatted about the Debra Granik film, LEAVE NO TRACE. This was a great conversation. Jakub and Randy were joined by Hillary White, and they each discussed how this film about a homeless father-daughter duo impacted them. They discuss PTSD, when the role of caretaker transitions from parent to child, getting overwhelmed by performing basic societal tasks, and whether or not the 'system' actually sees people's problems or do they just see statistics?
