My sweet clients had the best spring break trip last week - and mama had a birthday while they were there too! 🥳 👉 These friends are NOT Disney novices! HOWEVER, that doesn't mean a planner isn't valuable to them. Check this out... 👇👇 Their flight landed at 8AM, but the first Lightening Lane selection opens at 7AM. Obviously, they couldn't do that from the air, but it would be completely sold out by the time they landed. So I was at the ready to snag a spot on Frozen for them! So all they had to do was land, go to the resort & drop their bags, head over to Epcot, and start having fun. Besides that, I was able to get them the best promotion on at the resort they requested, and answered questions about their room so they were prepared with milk for their little girl. 💕 I absolutely love helping families have a wonderful experience on their vacation. 🧑🏫 Understanding the difference between school-based occupational therapy (OT) and private clinic OT can be confusing. 💼 In private OT, the therapist and the family collaborate and develop goals together. These goals can be in any area that the family and child are struggling based upon evaluation and clinical observation. 🏫 School-based OT is provided through an IEP and only focuses on what is deemed “educationally necessary. Collaboration with the provider is limited, and therefore the family is frequently left in the unknown on how to carryover activities at home. 🎯 Each setting has its own focus and goals depending on the child's needs and age. If you're unsure which type of OT is best for your child, DM us to determine the best course of action. If you don’t, you will be spending more money than you care to admit on ponchos when it inevitably rains. 🌧️✨ 3. Mobile Ordering is the easiest way to save time. Make a list of where you want to eat and which locations have Mobile Ordering. Make your order strategically and skip standing in line with hangry kids. 📱✨ 4. Pack a fan for each family member. You can get cute Mickey ones on Amazon or occasionally Walgreens. You’ll thank me later. 🥵✨ 5. You can bring your own food into the parks. Even if you plan on eating most meals in the parks, you can still pack everyone some snacks.
