APRIL DATE *day*๐ช at @streetfoodcircusuk We had a lovely time today at Merthyr Mawrโs street food festival. Weโre so glad the weather was on our side - finally some much needed vitamin D๐ 1. Pulled Beef Brisket๐ฅฉ We shared this gorgeous pulled beef brisket with chips and bbq sauce. The meat was so tender and tasty, the food was piping hot and the bbq sauce was the perfect match for this dish. We wish there was a little more bbq sauce, but Iโm pretty sure we were able to add more, we just forgot to do so! This was ยฃ14.00. 3. Coconut Dahl๐ฅ Carys had this gorgeous Sri Lankan dish, which was in fact vegan! I donโt like pork or chicken thighs so the spiced chickpeas really appealed to me๐ The aubergine side was stunning. This dish was the best mixture ever of spiciness and creaminess! ยฃ12.00. 4. Frankieโs Wrap๐ฏ Jack enjoyed this fresh and colourful Indian cuisine! The smell really entised me during our first venture around the stalls. This wrap was bursting with flavour and rich with plenty of herbs and spices. ยฃ9.50. 6. Belgian Chocolate Tort with Orange Sorbet, and, Extreme Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream๐ซ The tort was extremely chocolatey and the orange flavour was far from subtle. This was excellently balanced with the light and refreshing sorbet. This very saucy cake was made with good quality chocolate and the ice cream was a nice addition. It came to ยฃ14.65 for both. When we booked our tickets, it came to ยฃ18, including the cost of parking. Admittedly, this is a little steep but considering the gorgeous decor and immaculate vibes as you walk around the circus, this is understandable. Loud music, a great nature setting and stunning food is unbeatable and the summer weather really topped it all off๐ฎโ๐จ -Jack and Carys

FOREST FEASTIVAL๐ณ Iโve been a fan of @streetfoodcircusuk since their Depot days, and it seems theyโve just grown and grown since then! We checked out their Forest Feastival event this weekend at Merthyr Mawr; the last of six weekends of street food and fun set in the sand dunes of South Wales. With some sessions being child and dog friendly, including the one we attended, this was the perfect event for this weekendโs weather and some family fun! I didnโt have it this time but always incredible๐ 100% necessary to get a bao from @baoselecta.
