While visiting the Scottish Highlands this year I came across a beautiful tiny home resort called Loch Ness Highlands Resort in the town of Fort Augustus right on the Loch Ness. I was so impressed by their concept of a community of tiny cottages designed for nightly and/or short term rentals that immediately upon returning home I began to design a new model intended for this type of use. Whereas the standard tiny home models we build such as the Denali, etc. are designed for long term rent or full time living and include a full kitchen, laundry, etc. these little cabins are designed for a short getaway or nightly retreat. There are several versions including a honeymoon style suite and a larger family friendly model that sleeps four people. All of them feature a luxury experience with a 12 ft wide Panoramic Door that opens the home up to nature. Imagine waking up in a remote and beautiful setting in one of the Highland Cottages by Timbercraft!
