Still have my complete in box copy from my childhood on #SuperNES, which today may just be a fine time to celebrate with a complete playthrough again. A fun memory I can recall was during the summer after I'd gotten the game and strategy guide, in the mornings before going to sleep I was so obsessed with this game and remembered where to go every time, I'd trace my finger along the maps in the strategy guide as if I was playing it in my mind. Something to keep me occupied until I'd continue actually playing it or to simply play it again. Last, Now and Next(s) 🌼 A mood reader like so many of you, I find it hard to stick to a tbr plan. This is all, therefore, very, as they say, loosy goosy 🪿 Creatures was my first read of April and an immediate 5 star one at that. Currently, I’m plugging away at Chinatown and it’s dense, but incredibly interesting. Not pictured is Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, which I’m listening to on audio and just about to finish 🎧 Lanny, I tried on audio, but paused it in favor of reading a physical copy. While the audio includes unique voice acting and stylistic choices, I think the unique structure of the physical book will be much better! I’m hoping it’ll be an April read along with The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida (a long term resident on the tbr) and Mother Brain (one of the few nonfiction books on the tbr). Not included here are the various ARCS, book buddy picks from @simonbooks and recent contest wins (when did I get so lucky??), which I’m hoping to feature in their own post soon! Likely these will be my actual next reads!
