FRIDAY 10 MAY Concerts for three schools in West Norfolk for the CMR organisation. Thrilled to be back to introduce the violin to three new schools. I played for CMR in June last year with a few bandages keeping my face intact which was definitely a distraction for the little ones. I asked if they had questions after I had played and one boy called out 'What happened to your nose?'. I told him it was a bike accident and that luckily I had not needed my nose to play with and the good thing was my hands were fine! He seemed happy with that. I had some lovely feedback actually to do with the music with at least one child saying they would love to learn the violin. …and this was the final show of my EU spring tour (1st part, because shows in Lithuania, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia are coming up in next weeks) in Warsaw, Poland. But I had an unexpected adventure with my van before that, so I hardly managed to get there in time … 😃 1-3 - @to_sie_wytnie Warsaw PL 4 - coffee break in the morning after the adventure 5 - me explaining the adventure :) long story short, during the night at a middle of nowhere I accidentally drive into a trench while parking my van at a beautiful spot by a pond. Wheels were up in the sky. A throwback to the 4th week of my tour last week! 1 - a concert in Luebeck - @tonfink venue! Was great to be back! And I had a special guest on the stage, will make a post about it tomorrow! 2, 3, 4 - spent 2 off days in Luebeck. Did some sightseeing, street music (until I was kicked out of my treasure spot), open mics, went to a local musician’s concert too 5 - open mic in Luebeck @freespiritsoulmusic 6, 7 - a concert in Kiel - they treated me with an amazing audience 😍 8 , 9 - then I had a crazy 8hour drive to the south of Germany to play one of my first outdoor gigs this year at @teufelsmuehle.schwarzwald - amazing place with a view! 10 my return concert to @kulturgewachshaus.birkenried - such an amazing place surrounded by beautiful art and sculptures made by artists from various countries in Africa! #musician #musicianontour #instrumentalmusic #livelooping #fingerstyle #sologuitar
