I love the story so much and was instantly transported into their world. So obviously I knew I was in for something of an existential nature. The plot is about a film director who meets a woman who projects a personality that seems a mixture of dreaminess and eccentricity, seemingly living in a fantasy world. The woman claims that every day is her birthday, which arouses the director's curiosity about her. Ritual is not overtly experimental but is also not a film with a frontal presentation so it may seem slow and derivative for viewers unfamiliar with this type of narratives. Guess what I went to see this morning!!! Another Studio Ghibli movie. 🤣 i dragged my "operating on 4 hours of sleep" self to a nearby cinema to watch The Boy And The Heron. I wanted to see it whilst I was visiting family last month but none of the nearby cinemas had it 😢. The Boy and the Heron 2023 Initial Rating: 8.5/10 When this was announced, the title was "How Do You Live?". I believe that is still the title in Japan, but in the states it got changed to The Boy and the Heron. Which is dumb, and annoys me greatly. I am telling you this so you will be aware. If you are aware you'll show your kids said awareness. They will then be smart enough not to require kid friendly titles to movies arbitrarily. Kind of a give a mouse a cookie situation. The Boy and the Heron is the latest film from Studio Ghibli, after a brief hiatus. It follows a boy, who meets a heron. There's also some interesting concepts regarding family and loss and such. He also goes to another world filled with wondrous creatures. You know, the usual stuff! Like most films from Miyazaki, this one is quite good. The animation is beautiful and brings to life a wild assortment of creatures and ideas. There's some solid heartfelt moments as well as comedic ones. The themes of family and loss are well done for the most part, but the did falter a bit in my opinion. The same is true with the plot, which was very interesting but had some gaps that I took issue with. I don't know how many more movies Miyazaki, and Studio Ghibli as whole, have left. That's the sad reality we're in now. So I highly recommend seeing one of his movies in theaters while you still can. Maybe we'll be lucky enough to get one or two more, I have no idea. But if you are able to make it to a theater, do it. Appreciate the greatness while you still can. Alternatively if you are poor or lazy, you are welcome to come over and watch The Wind Rises or Princess Mononoke, as those are the two I have on Blu-ray. 国立映画アーカイブ / 逝ける映画人を偲んで 2021-2022 で「死んでもいい」を観た。 「アクターズ・ファイル 永瀬正敏」でこの映画について知り、きっと名作だから観たいと思っていた。 監督・脚本の石井隆が2022年に亡くなり、この特集で上映されることになったのだろう。 映画は思い込みの激しい若い男(永瀬)によって、人生が変わってしまう夫婦(室田日出男、大竹しのぶ)のお話ととらえた。 歌舞伎にはよく過剰な人物が出てくるので、そういうものだと思えば無理に関係を結んだり、殺しが起きたりするのも物語として受け入れられる。 室田日出男が妻よりだいぶ年上だけどとてもいい夫だし渋くてかっこいいので、大竹しのぶが永瀬正敏と続いてしまうのはなぜか考えた。 魅力とか安定とか以外に過剰さで突破できることもあるんだろうな。特に恋愛は。 こう書くと永瀬正敏がかっこよくないみたいだが、ちゃんとかっこいい。ただよく必死になる役なので、余裕的な意味のかっこよさは少ない。 あと構成に無駄がなくて、やっぱり見てよかった。 題材で人を選ぶと思うので全員見てとは言わないけど、いい映画。 #movie #takashiishii #originalsin_movie #masatoshinagase #shinobuotake #hideomurota #1990smovie #nationalfilmarchiveofjapan #kyobashi #tokyo #死んでもいい #映画 #石井隆 #永瀬正敏 #大竹しのぶ #室田日出男 #国立映画アーカイブ #逝ける映画人を偲んで2021202022 #京橋 #東京
Аніме я пізнаватиму та не спинятимусь. Цього разу на огляді досить відоме творіння студії Ghibli, на основі сценарію Хаяо Міядзакі – «Позичайка Аріетті». У віддалене японське містечко, в затишний бабусин дім приїжджає 12-річний хлопчик Сьо, у якого хворе серце. Одразу по приїзді йому відкривається велика таємниця будинку, у фундаменті якого облаштували житло Позичайки – крихітні люди, які живуть за рахунок того, що «позичають» у людей речі – їжу та побутові предмети. Головна героїня Аріетті, при спробі взяти дольку цукру, була помічена Сьо, і через це накликала на родину небезпеку бути спійманими людьми. Тож їх чекає тяжкий переїзд… Але що як дружба з людиною може принести хоч якусь користь? Одразу відмічу – як завжди в аніме чудова детальна анімація, затишна атмосфера та навіть коти (щось на студії Ghibli їх дуже поважають). І для очей це творіння є суцільним задоволенням. Мені продобається продуманість життя цих маленьких людей. Звичайна голка може бути для них корисною зброєю для захисту, м’ятного листка їм вистачить на рік, а великий світ для них – задній двір будиночку. Знаєте, Міядзакі чудово грає з очікуваннями глядача, закинувши в сценарій іграшковий будиночок, та давши надію, що позичайки з людьми уживуться та буде хеппі-енд. А дзуськи. Кожна робота Міядзакі по-своєму доросла, та тут він показує, що життя не завжди прихильне до будь-яких живих істот, які наврядчи зможуть жити в мирі і спокої. Та бувають обставини, коли навіть через небажання доводиться щось міняти і продовжувати рухатись. Все це просто і без пафосу. Відсилки до інших аніме Ghibli присутні, тож фанати будуть задоволені. Окремо також відмічу музику. Жанр не мій, але в створенні душевної атмосфери вона тут зіграла вирішальну роль. Аніме зроблено на основі європейської казки, тож мелодії, що нагадують європейський фольклор були зроблені з повагою до аудиторії. Що тут казати? Народ – це частково творіння Міядзакі, в часи розквіту його студії. Воно обов’язкове для перегляду навіть тим, хто недолюблює аніме. Немає тих, хто буде байдужий.
L’animation japonaise n’en finit pas de mettre à profit le tsunami de 2011 pour produire de nouvelles œuvres. « La maison des égarées » de Shinya Kawatsura prend comme point de départ les jours qui suivent. Dans la région d’Iwate Yui est une adolescente qui a fuit un père violent, alors que la petite Hiyori, s’est muée dans un silence absolu depuis qu’elle a perdu ses parents dans un accident. Les deux jeunes filles se retrouvent dans un centre d’hébergement d’urgence pour les rescapés de la catastrophe qui vient de s’abattre. Elles vont se rapprocher et s’entraider jusqu’à que Kiwa, une vieille dame, les entraîne avec elle. Direction le cap du Renard où elles vont trouver refuge dans une maison magique isolée qui leur offrira le gîte et le couvert. Cette maison est une mayoiga, maison magique dans le folklore traditionnel japonais. Les deux jeunes filles ne sont pas au bout de leur surprise tant la vieille Kiwa dispose elle aussi de pouvoirs surnaturels. Ce trio improbable va unir ses forces à celles de nombreux Yokais (créatures fantastiques du folklore japonais) pour affronter un mal bien plus puissant qu’une catastrophe naturelle et qui puisse ses forces de la détresse humaine. Shinya Kawatsura propose une animation réjouissante où l’entraide devient un leitmotiv et où l’on explore gaiement toutes les facettes du folklore japonais. C’est assez inventif tout en étant très divertissant. Reiko Yoshida propose un scénario original qui joue sur la corde sensible de la catastrophe naturelle et de la nécessité de se reconstruire alors que l’on a tout perdu. 大竹しのぶさんの一人芝居『ヴィクトリア』を観劇‼︎ 以前から、しのぶさんの舞台を観てみたいと思いながらも機会がなかったのですが、今回しのぶさんの一人舞台を観ることができ感激です🌟 舞台『ヴィクトリア』について、しのぶさんは「ベルイマンが描いた世界はやはり魅力的で素晴らしい」と‼︎ 『ベルイマン』とは北欧を代表する映画監督で「20世紀最大の巨匠」の一人だとか。 （名前を聞いても分からなかった😓） そして、この舞台は深い精神性と哲学をテーマにしたもので内容はかなり難しい‼︎ さまざまな問題によって精神的に壊れていく一人の女性『ヴィクトリア』を、しのぶさんは見事に演じ切っていました。 本当にしのぶさんの演技を生で観れて嬉しかったです💓 舞台後、トークショーもあって、お茶目なしのぶさんを観ることも出来て感激でした🤩 #ヴィクトリア #大竹しのぶ #舞台ヴィクトリア #一人芝居 #兵庫県立芸術文化センター #victoria #shinobuotake

5月上旬の一時帰国で、芦屋の自宅になんと3ヶ月ぶりに2泊だけ帰宅…🤣それでも、いつもの飲み仲間は首を長くして待っていてくれたし、スーパーキッズ・オーケストラの新入団員オーディションや兵庫芸文の会議、テレビのコメント撮影や夙川ゴルフアカデミーの大コンペなど盛りだくさんの3日間でした。東京に戻る日には大竹しのぶさん出演のミュージカル「ジプシー」を大阪で観ることができました！いつもながらしのぶさんのパワーに感動〜オーケストラも上手かったなぁ～ I temporarily returned to my home in Ashiya in the beginning of May for only 2 nights - it was three months ago I stayed there last time...🤣 I was glad to meet my drinking buddies who looked forward to have drink with me again, and I had a lot of activities such as audition for new members of Super Kids Orchestra, meeting of Hyogo Performing Arts Center, TV comment shooting, a big competition of Shukugawa Golf Academy, and so on. In addition, on the day I returned to Tokyo, I was able to see the musical "Gypsy" featuring Shinobu Otake @shinobu717_official in Osaka!
