On Saturday April 6th, UTAT Rocketry held a Critical Design Review (CDR) for their Solid Rocket, Disruption. A CDR is technical assessment checkpoint to ensure that a system can proceed into fabrication, demonstration, and test and meet stated performance requirements within cost, schedule, and risk. The team was able to get a lot of useful feedback from their advisors, which they hope to implement in the coming weeks. 🐟Did you know you can get mercury poisoning from fish? In fact, the most common source of human exposure to mercury is through the consumption of certain types of fish. Methylmercury is bioaccumulative, so sharks, swordfish and other large fish are of greater concern while smaller fish like shellfish and salmon have very low levels of methylmercury, and mercury levels are also routinely monitored by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). Eg har vore så heldig å få arbeida med barn i nesten 30 år, og ikkje minst fått opplevd livets store lykke med å bli mamma til mine tri flotte gutar Sondre, Vetle og Jaran ❣️ Min store drivkraft som pedagog og mamma er å fylla sekken til barna med kjærlighet, gode opplevelsar og gi barn opplevinga av eigenverdi ❣️ Den mest meiningsfulle drivkraften, likevel den mest vanskelige. For som menneske vil me alltid møte utfordringar som er med på å skape sår og kanskje fylle både skarpe steinar og smågrus i sekken til barn me møter på vår vei. Det fins ingen perfekte foreldre, pedagogar, lærarar. Det som er viktig er at når me ser at det blei så vanskeleg for oss at me ikkje klarte møta barna hensiktsmessig er at me velger noko anna neste gong. Og for å klara det så treng me sjekke inn hjå oss sjølv, våge å vera ærleg med oss sjølv, våga å tilgi oss sjølv. For gjennom oss sjølv møter me andre ❣️ Barn trenger vaksne rundt seg som tar ansvaret i relasjonen vaksen-barn, og i barn-barn relasjonane. Mobbetal frå 2023 som nyleg var presentert viser ein auke i talet på barn som opplever mobbing. Barn opplever også ein auke i mobbing frå vaksne. Igjen er det me som vaksne treng ta ansvar. Og korleis gjer me det? Mitt forslag er å kontakte @gleding.no og bestille foredrag til personalmøter, foreldremøter, idrettslag, kommunestyre, m.m. For nå treng me handle for å snu utestenging til inkludering, få GLEDING i staden for mobbing. Er du med? Ta i ett kraftak for barna våre?
