The silence and stillness I experience in meditation and the increased happiness and diminished stress I experience outside meditation are so attractive and welcomed that I naturally teach myself how to go deeper into that silence and stillness each time I meditate. Sometimes if I find meditation is hard in some situations, I try walking in nature, doing yoga, or exercising to relax. I thought this is a form of practice mindfulness to fully immerse myself in the present moment too. Thank you for this chance to practice and cultivate my mental wellness. #MentAloWellness Day 7: Inversion day makes me smile - I love to at least give all a try - today was more a pincha play day - thought bow and arrow leg switches would be a good start again since I need to practice at this again and then the second one - I seen it called inverted puppy dog pose in peacock feather - isnโt that a cool way to look at what I always called a โtuckโ?! ARM BALANCE Your speech and behavior are natural outcroppings of your internal dialogue. In a similar way, your actions and speech reinforce your internal dialogue. Therefore, when you consciously choose to practice impeccable speech and behavior, your internal dialogue will automatically become more positive and refined. Being impeccable means behaving in accordance with the highest standards of propriety. In essence, it means being unimpeachable and without fault. This can be a tall order and while none of us are perfect, we can continually aspire to carry the spirit of impeccability within us, refraining from anything that could be potentially considered hurtful to others. Dairy recommendations include low-fat or fat-free milk, lactose-free milk, and fortified soy beverages. Other plant-based beverages do not have the same nutritional properties as animalโs milk and soy beverages. #MentAloWellness Day 3: Opening our hearts - I always like to try something new - this both hands to foot Son of Anjali Lunge Pose was really challenging to keep both my hands on the same foot and balance - the second pic I tried hard to get that leg to straighten butโฆ.i will keep at it and work on it - the strength to stay lifted and hang onto the foot challenged me!! As I grow older, I realize that I am responsible for developing resilience and making it a priority to be present in my daily life, but Iโve also realized that I canโt just reject negative emotions when they develop. Emotions exist as ways of communicating with our own bodies and minds. Every emotion has a purpose, no matter the manifestation. When Iโm sad, my emotions might be telling me, hey, this situation isnโt making me feel heard. When Iโm jealous, my emotions might be telling me thereโs something about this situation that makes me insecure. Thereโs no such thing as โgoodโ and โbadโ emotions. . . . 3. I sometimes asked myself: Why am I such a sensitive person? ๐ค I found out that high sensitivy is thought to have genetic roots, and some specific gene variants have been associated with the trait. But early childhood environments may play a role as well. I had to learn to manage my emotions in this way ๐ ๐ Don't take things personally. ๐ Learn to control emotions. ๐ Talking to others is one of the best methods of getting your feelings out. ๐ Cry if you need to. ๐ Release the tension. ๐ Be mindful of how you express your emotions to others. ๐ GIVING IT TIME!!! ๐๐๐๐ HUGS to all to my overly sensitive yogis, love you all!
