フォトブック『ボロボロになって下山して...(以下略)』より抜粋その2。 オールドレンズらしさってなんだろう？と考える。 だいたいそういう言葉を使う時に人は、にじむピントの線だったり、色とりどりなフレアやゴーストだったり、グルグルしたり放射状に流れたりするボケなんかをイメージしていると思う。つまりはクセ玉のこと。 おれもクセ玉は好きだし何本も持っている。 でも最近はそういうクセ全開の写りはあまり求めてなくて、しっかり写るレンズを使ったり、クセ玉を使う時には少し絞ってクセを抑えて撮ったりしている。 じゃあ、わざわざオールドレンズなんか使わずに現行レンズ使った方がしっかり写るやん、とはならなくて、現行レンズはやっぱり使う気になれない。 オールドレンズになにを求めているのかと言うと、しっかり解像しながらもバキバキに硬くはならないピントの線だったり、黒から白まで滑らかに繋がるコントラストだったり、決して派手にはなりすぎない色乗りだったりする。 これらの要素が自分にとっての「オールドレンズらしさ」であり、オールドレンズを使う理由なんやなぁ。 というのが、今回の展示に在廊中、ボーっと考えて出た結論です。 うん、暇やったんやな。(笑) 今回の壁面展示にしてもフォトブックにしても、そういう描写の写真が比較的多かったように思う。 展示の準備中、上にごちゃごちゃ書いたことを頭の中で明文化する前の段階から、無意識にそういう視点でセレクトしてたんやなぁ。 ということで、今おれがオールドレンズ初心者の方にオススメするレンズはスーパータクマーでもヘリオスでもなく、ミノルタのMCロッコール50mmF1.4とかカールツァイスイエナのパンカラー50mmF1.8とかです。 クセが少なくて使いやすいけど、オールドレンズらしい柔らかさがしっかり残ってるいいレンズですよ。どちらも1〜2万で買えるしね。 #おはようございます☀ #NEX5R #NEX5T #α7S #Carlzeiss #Arriflex #CineLens #CinePlanar32mmF2 #ZeissOpton #Biogon3_5cmF2_8 #Leica #Summicron50mm #SuperAngulon21mmF3_4 #2nd #MINOLTA # #ROKKOR #Mロッコール40mmF2 #Mロッコール90mmF4 #ミノルタマニア #OldLens #oldlens_japan #山景フォト

『たそがれどき』 先週日曜から浅草橋の写真企画室ホトリで開催されていたオールドレンズ・オーケストラ #4、昨日無事に閉幕しました。 ありがとうございました。 今回の作品は去年の秋に友人と奥多摩の川苔山へ登りに行った時の写真。 身体が鈍りまくったおっちゃん2人、久しぶりの登山でスピードが上がらず、下ってる途中で暗くなって来た!!という状況。(の割に余裕やな) うっすらかかったガスも相まって幻想的なその空気感を、シネディスタゴン24mmが上手く描写してくれました。 ちなみに、この日はまだ光のある内に集落まで下山できました。😅 カメラはソニーのNEX-5R。 10年前のAPS-C 1600万画素機なんやけど、個人的にはこれで十分なんよね。 オールドレンズとの組み合わせなら解像度がこれ以上高くてもあんまり関係ないし、A3ノビにプリントしても特に不足は感じない。高感度もISO3200までは普通に使える。 この後の世代のAPS-C 2400万画素機もソニーのとフジのを使ったけど、おれの目にはこっちの方が深みがあって自然な描写に見えるんですよ。(あくまでAPS-C機同士の比較です) これが中古で1～1.5万円で手に入るので、壊れてもそんなに痛くない。(山で使ってたら定期的に壊れるので) そんなわけで、これからもこの組み合わせで使って行こうと思います。 #おはようございます☀ #写真展報告 #NEX5R #Carlzeiss #CineDistagon24mmF2 #Arriflex #CineLens #OldLens #NoFilter #oldlens_japan #mf_landscape #奥多摩 #川苔山 #山景フォト #背中snap

Wrapped a special project last week with a divine group of filmmakers. Fun rainbow flare from a 35mm Super Speed. I went with the classic Arriflex/Zeiss Super Speed lenses for this project, which were at the top of the game in the late 1970’s. Zeiss was commissioned by ARRI to design a set of fast cinema lenses, specifically for 35mm motion picture cameras, that utilized the latest advancements in lens manufacturing, including the improved multi-layer coating techniques, aspherics and floating elements.
