Sizdah Bedar Dinner - the thirteenth day of Nowruz and what's also called Nature's Day. A day spent with picknicks in parks or in nature, gets celebrated indoors at my place cause we live in Sweden and it's cold 🤷🏽♂️ Me and ❤️ cooking for my family and as you all know, love cooking for loved ones. Especially the ones I can experiment on ☺️ ⭐ The centerpiece was supposed to be the leg of lamb, but overcooked if and it got tough, although the flavors were there. Marines in a mix of garlic, onion, lemon juice, and spices. Fava bean rice with meat ( #baghali #polo ba mahiche ) is the best choice for the main dish at parties Ingredients: a kilo of beef muscle, half a kilo of rice, a large bowl of cleaned fava bean, onions, oil, a handful of dried vegetables, spices including salt, turmeric, black pepper powder, cinnamon and a few cloves of garlic. Recipe for rice with fava bean: Soak the rice in water and salt the night before. put the cleaned fava bean in boiling water and let it cook for an hour. put the rice in another pot with boiling water and let it boil for five minutes. drain the rice and drain fava bean and put them both in a pot and pour dried vegetables on it and let it cook for half an hour on medium heat. Recipe for cook meat: First, wash the pieces of beef muscles and put them into boiling water and let them to cook for 2 hours. Then peel the onions and cloves of garlic and chop them. Next, sauté the chopped onions and garlic in oil and add cooked pieces of beef muscles and sauté ingredients with together. After that, add spices including salt, turmeric, cinnamon and black pepper powder into ingredients. Finally, add two glasses of boiling water into ingredients and let stew to cook with medium heat for 1 hour.
