A low effort, high reward bake. I keep seeing posts where someone takes #puffpastry and fills it with something, cuts it into long strips, twists it and rolls it up like a cinnamon roll. I had some #pecan #applebutter from @clydescidermill so I used that and sprinkled extra pecans on top. This turned out pretty good. I have other candidates for fillings. Lange ist es her, deshalb wurde heute wieder mal Mille-feuille gebacken. ☀️🌺🥰☀️🌺🥰☀️🌺🥰☀️🌺🥰☀️🌺🥰☀️🌺🥰☀️ Mille-feuille 1 Packung frischen Blätterteig oder selbstgemachten Creme: 350 ml Milch, 4 Eigelb, 35 g Speisestärke, 1/2 TL Vanilleextrakt, 80 g Zucker, 30 g Butter Milch erhitzen. Eigelbe und Zucker cremig rühren, Speisestärke gesiebt dazugeben und gut 3 Minuten rühren. Erhitzte Milch nach und nach unter die Eigelbmasse rühren und wieder in den Milch Topf zurück geben. Unter ständigem rühren zum kochen bringen. Vanilleextrakt dazugeben und gut weiter rühren. Wenn die Creme Pudding ähnlich ist, zurück in die Schüssel geben und die weiche Butter unter die Creme rühren. Mit Frischhaltefolie abgedeckt im Kühlschrank kalt werden lassen. Creme vor dem verwenden, noch mal etwas aufschlagen. Den Blätterteig auf ein Backblech legen, zum beschweren ein zweites Backblech darauf legen und nach Backunganleitung goldbraun backen. Abkühlen lassen und Teigplatte in 3 oder mehr gleichgroße Teile schneiden. 1. Teiglage mit Creme bestreichen, dann 2. Teiglage darauf legen und auch mit Creme, und so weiter.
