Buddha bowls for the win! 🍲 They were so delish, but I did eat a bit of rice.. which I wish I didn’t! I really didn’t need it and/or should’ve ran out and grabbed konjac rice. I’m in this weird space where I don’t think before I eat things and then while I’m eating it, I realize and think wtf am I doing!! 😳 But at least I’m realizing it ☺️
Breakfast this morning was delicious! I had a loaded sausage with egg 🥚 I’m trying to eat more savoury for breakfast because I’m learning a lot about the way sugar hits your blood stream and when the best time to eat “sugar” is and it’s actually after you’ve eaten a meal, as like a dessert! It’s not good to have sugar on an empty tummy because of the way it creates a sugar crash and sheesh, I’ve definitely felt that before! Learning is fun hehe 😚
I made some homemade blueberry cinnamon buns! They were SO GOOD…until the whole wheat settled in my belly! 😅 next time I will absolutely make with almond flour, but I was just trying to be inclusive for the people I was making it for 🥰 It’s literally just flour and yogurt! I couldn’t believe it actually came together! - 1 cup whole wheat flour - 1 cup Greek yogurt - 1 tsp baking soda - 1 tsp baking powder Mix and form, and bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes! ⏰
First time at the gym in a few days, as I’ve been sick and burnt out!! ☹️ I actually asked for a little bit of time off work because I’ve been feeling really sad about life lately. Work is a really stressful place to be and I think being an empath is making it even harder being there. I’m hoping to take the week and just chill… fall in love with my little passions again.
