La foto dell’EP “Twist and shout” fu scattata il 25 aprile 1963 dalla fotografa britannica Fiona Adams in un luogo desolato vicino alla stazione di Euston, una parte di Londra ancora distrutta e in attesa di essere ricostruita che aveva attirato l’attenzione dell’artista stanca dello stile hollywoodiano e degli scatti in posa nei teatri e in studio. Di quella giornata ricorda la corsa in taxi con i Beatles, e l’attrezzatura fotografica, fino al posto scelto, dove c’era una cantina bombardata a cielo aperto, e la meravigliosa sessione con i Fab Four, allineati sul muro, che furono molto collaborativi. Il “jumping shot” venne poi scelto da John Lennon e dall’addetto stampa Tony Barrow per la copertina dell’album.
