Our gifts are blessings that God gives us so that we can a blessing to others so I believe it’s important for us to be intentional about nurturing, growing, and using our gifts for God’s glory. That being said, I think we should be mindful of today’s quote because we can be gifted without being Godly, but we cannot be Godly without being gifted. And while sharing our gifts is good, that doesn’t mean it’s of God. We need to ensure that our focus is on being Godly instead of just being good and gifted because Heaven is the goal. Icky rainy weird weather today but here I am at my usual home-game @unchealthrex cancer center because at the end of the negotiations, they seem to have worked out the agreement with @unitedhealthcare as we knew they would. I can’t imagine how many people were worried sick about it. But I sit here grateful today. Grateful for the nurses here who care so much about us. Grateful for the shot that keeps the cancer away. Grateful for my family, friends and coworkers… many of whom blur the lines of those categories. Life is difficult, friends. Be kind. It doesn’t take much effort and really goes a long way.
