It’s not a political memoir or extended resume. This book is researched and includes lots stories from history I didn’t know. Yes, O’Rourke does show up in the book to flex his bonafides but that’s not the center. It’s well written, and I learned a good amount. If you’re a Texan I think you’d particularly appreciate the history and perspective in WE’VE GOT TO TRY. It’s not a perfect book but it is short which helps a lot to keep it from feeling too redundant. • • Have you read this book?
