🌸More spring blossoms please!!!🌸 Today’s project is super fun! Our continued 🎉celebration 🎉 of spring is found in these colorful flowers. Supplies: 2 pieces of white paper, something to color with (I used watercolor paint) you could use crayons, markers, chalk etc., pencil, scissors, and glue. Step 1: take one sheet of paper and cover it with lots of colors🌈. Try not to leave any white spots. Let it dry if you used paint. Step 2: using your pencil draw your flowers on the colored piece of paper. I used a marker so you could see it better, but a pencil will work better when you cut it out. Make sure your flowers are big so that you use lots of your colored paper. Step 3: use your scissors to cut out your flowers. I also cut out some circles to put in the middle of my flowers. Step 4: once your flowers are all cut out arrange them on your second piece of paper. Experiment with the composition and placing them in different spots. Step 5: when you have decided on the placement of your flowers go ahead and use glue to secure them in place. Step 6: give yourself a big pat on the back for completing your art piece! 👏🏼 Find a place to display your art and don’t forget to send me a picture! 🎉Yea for spring!!! 🎉 With all the 🌸 blossoms also comes the dandelions! (Of course these aren’t from my yard 😉😉) This fun project uses the dandelions for your color! 💛 You can go collect dandelions from your yard, or if you don’t have any in your yard you can go on a walk and collect them along the way. While they are actually considered a weed they do provide a fun pop of yellow! Have fun and I can’t wait to see your finished products! Supplies: paper, dandelions, black pen, and something to color with. Step 1: collect your dandelions and hold the flower at the base and rub the flower in small circles on your paper. Do this 5-6 times. I used 4-5 flowers to get my color. Step 2: using your black pen draw a the small little petals on your dandelions. I made little wiggles, dots, and small arches to make my petals. It doesn’t need to be perfect. Think of it more like a sketch. Step 3: using your black pen to draw the long skinny stems of your dandelions. Step 4: drawing from observation look at the long pointy leaves of the dandelions. Draw the leaves on your picture. Step 5: with your picture drawn, you can then go in and color your leaves if you’d like. I used a couple different colors of green to add variety.
