Week 12 ✅ this week flew by! As always catching beautiful sunsets over Typhoon Lagoon. I got to see my fur baby as she was doing her favorite activity, napping. I went to the Riviera to get some school stuff done and then hopped over to Epcot where I met some Disney friends 😊 stopped at the new area at EPCOT to finish up the remaining school work before having some fun at the park. I loved this moment between Peter and his “Wendy” 🩵✨ I’m calling her his Wendy because I did not have a chance to get her name. And I just love that her blue character attendant costume matches Wendy’s dress. Peter was excitedly showing her something in the water and I loved watching them explore the kingdom together. Happy 26th Anniversary to Disney's Animal Kingdom! 🌳🦁✨ In the summer of 2023, I began my time as a Disney Cast Member and made magic in Disney's Animal Kingdom. I fell in love with merchandise and ended up picking up around the property, but DAK will always hold such a sweet place in my heart. One of my favourite memories was during my park tour day, where I got to learn the magic behind Disney's Animal Kingdom, specifically how every land has a theme of conservation. This summer, I am looking forward to enjoying what this park has to offer and explore it more thoroughly! Happy to say that I did complete both the 5k and 10k races this weekend for Springtime Surprise. But around 2am this morning, when I was still unable to sleep, had a headache that wouldn’t stop, and had a body that was just aching, I made the decision to forego the 10miler and therefore not complete Stitch’s ‘OHana Challenge. I’m a little disappointed in myself, for sure - but I am glad that I took today to relax and recover; had I gone ahead with today’s race, I may not have had a great time. There will always be another race weekend!
