Aujourd'hui avait lieu mon premier mariage de la saison 2024. Je viens de rentrer chez moi avec des appareils photos plein de magie, clairement. Il y a peu de temps, j'ai découvert le travail de Julia Margaret Cameron (1815 - 1879). Et j'ai été enchantée. Elle n’était pas en quête de l’image parfaite, contrairement à ses pairs de l'époque. Elle revendiquait les accidents techniques et l’utilisation du gros plan. Elle pratiquait le Soft Focus, qui confère à ses images une impression de flou. Elle a dit : « Qu’est ce que la mise au point ? Et qui a le droit de dire que telle mise au point est la bonne ? Mon aspiration est d’ennoblir la photographie et de lui conférer la nature et les usages de l’Art en combinant le réel et l’idéal, sans rien sacrifier de la Vérité par une éventuelle dévotion à la poésie et à la beauté... » Et, si tu me connais, tu sais déjà comment résonner en moi. Mettre l'émotion, la beauté au centre de la photographie, au détriment de l'exactitude et de la précision. C'est l'essence de mon travail. Alors, je suis rentrée de ce premier mariage, enchantée par cette journée. Cette journée où j'ai accompagné des amoureux incroyables, une mariée sublime et tellement adorable... Et un mariage où j'ai pour la première fois osé utiliser mon plus vieil objectif argentique. Celui plein d'imprécisions, celui qui est difficile à manier, celui qui a une mise au point capricieuse. Celui que j'aime d'un amour inconditionnel. Et j'étais tellement impatiente de voir le résultat. Parce qu'Elise est incroyable et que je savais que j'adorerais les photos. Alors, pour me faire plaisir, j'en ai retouché 3. Et juste... Waouh. Je m'arrêterai là. Je t'embrasse ! @elimiki_mi merci pour tout.
