I had the absolute privilege of attending the @coloradorenaissancefestival twice this year, including closing day this past Sunday, as scrapbooked here. I started making these rings a couple months ago and I’m extremely proud of them! I’ve never seen anyone make anything like this before. I encase the watch movement in resin, then bezel set the movement in sterling silver gallery wire and I make the ring band from scratch. I only had about 11 of them for this season at the Colorado Renaissance festival and I sold every single one - including one I was planning on keeping for myself! Will be making more in the next couple months in preparation for @fireflyhandmade markets and @texrenfest!

Keyleth was at the Renaissance Faire today! I had the idea to create her mantle out of knitted wool leaves (playing to my crafting strengths) and I simply had to find out if I could pull it off. 269 leaves later (nice), I’ve been working on the Mantle of the Tempest for about 3 months now, and it’s not actually finished! I’m planning to add leather leaves around the top section, which is just a fabric base right now. But it’s SO lovely and swooshy, it was a joy to flounce around in today! Everything else is closet cosplay, so at some point I’ll also make a dress, more suitable antlers, and a staff.
