These were robbed off since two days ago, the first day l filled the buns with #filletmignon then when a little girl protested because after her piano lesson her bun was gone, so l made a sweet version, she didn’t like sweet version so l coerced her said if she come again the next day l would bake savoury one for her. This was the last bunch baked with air fryer, thus, l was able to save it for breakfast today! Reflected my post graduate diploma in business study now regarding EQ - My chef school principal expected me to open a restaurant or cafe after l left school but l never did, some unspeakable commitments and responsibilities are fallen to women when there were someone used to be in their life playing dirty refused to carry out responsibilities and commitments, that’s why careful of anyone dishonest would act extreme moody - they either sweet talk or acting mean to you within a short time frame. We need high EQ people around us, and if you mix with foreigners only if they have high CQ, then you can befriended with them, as every race they have a kind of hidden superior complex, e,g. diplomats, frequent travellers and businessmen able to exhibit the high CQ. I have heard and seemed so many stories in Auckland here, and l myself experienced in chef industry with people exhibited low EQ and CQ. EQ and CQ should be introduced to NZ education whenJohn Key started to bring in rich immigrant. The eco culture now in NZ is highly mixed but CQ is relatively low among general population including migrants snd locals. However, due to improvement of Chinese economic, influx of rich Chinese spread all over the world. Thus, Chinese won’t be arranged to sleep in storeroom like 60s when he represented Auckland to go somewhere for ping pong tournament ( he later became the very first JP) but these days, only poor Chinese could be treated like the same manner by own mean cChinese! #culturalquotient #cq #sourdoughbun

←その他の投稿はこちら なぜ日本は不登校が多い？：文化の影響と新しい視点 ★「子どもがある朝、ベッドから起きてこなくなった！」 娘が突然ベッドから起き上がれなくなったのは、中学校1年の2学期が始まったばかりのある朝でした。 最初は「疲れがたまったんだろう。数日ゆっくりすればきっと大丈夫」と思って休ませたものの、数日が1週間になり、ついに1か月に。 担任やクラスメイトが毎日のように放課後、激励に来てくれます。授業のノートを持ってきてくれたり、励ましのメッセージを書いてくれたり・・・しかし、それがかえってプレッシャーとなり、「申し訳なさ」に押しつぶされそうになりました。 娘の昼夜逆転の生活が始まりました。太陽が出ている間は死んだようにぐったりしている娘が、日が暮れる頃に起きだし、夜中元気そうにテレビやネットを見ている姿に強い憤りを感じたことも一度ではありません。 複数の専門家に相談しましたが、原因は分からないまま。不登校は中学校卒業までの2年半続きました。 ★なぜ日本はこんなに不登校が多い？：社会構造に組み込まれた「やりすぎ教育」 文科省の調査によると、2022年度の小・中学校の不登校児童生徒数は過去最高となり24万人を超えました。不登校生徒の割合は、中学校で5.00％（20人に１人）、つまり１クラスに1～2人が不登校ということになります。 また学校に来ていても、部分登校や保健室登校など「不登校傾向」とされる中学生は33万人（10人に１人）と推定されます。 文科省は不登校の最大の理由として、約半数は「本人の無気力・不安」によるとしています。ではなぜ日本の子どもは学校に対して「不安」を感じているのでしょうか？また世界ではどういう状況なのでしょう？ 国によって不登校の定義・教育事情が異なるために比較は難しいものの、不登校がここまで大きな社会課題なのは日本特有の現象と考えられます。私自身、日本の学校現場の現状を欧米やアジアなど様々な国の友人に話してきましたが、そのたびに目を丸くされます。 世界の教育に詳しい臨床心理士は、「どこの国にもイジメはあるのに、日本だけで不登校が起きる根本原因」として「社会構造」の中に取り込まれた「やりすぎ教育」があると述べています。 ★文化から不登校を見つめる：際立つ日本文化の特異さ では子どもが「無気力・不安」を引き起こすまで「やりすぎ教育」に向かわせる社会的背景は何でしょう？そこには文化が大きく影響していると考えられます。 オランダの社会心理学者、ヘールト・ホフステード博士は45年間にわたり「文化」という曖昧な対象を研究、6つのモノサシ（文化次元）を使ってモデル化しました。 ★続きはハイライトよりnoteをご覧ください！ @cq_lab_ ************************************************ CQラボ @cq_lab_ CQとは文化背景の異なる人々と協働し成果を出す力 CQを使って違いに橋を架け、パワーにする世の中をつくる ホフステードの日本のオフィシャルパートナー CQにまつわるエピソードや私たちの活動を発信していく予定です フォローしていただけたら嬉しいです！ ************************************************ #culturalintelligence #culturalquotient #異文化理解 #ホフステード #多様性 #多様性のある世界 #異文化適応力 #経営戦略としての異文化適応力 #インクルージョン #ダイバーシティアンドインクルージョン #不登校支援 #不登校の親 #不登校の母

In addition to this, the ability to monitor and manage your own emotions also ties in with your level of emotional intelligence. IQ, or intelligence quotient, is a measure of your ability to reason and solve problems. It essentially reflects how well you did on a specific test as compared to other people of your age group. Cultural intelligence or cultural quotient is the capability to relate and work effectively across cultures, bearing similarity to the term cultural agility. My trip to Sierra Leone in 2008 became a turning point in my life. Before that I was in a bubble in New Zealand and very much aware of my difference. I had this notion that I had extended family but they didn’t seem that real to me. Suddenly finding out I had all this family, culture, roots, and connections - it was an awakening which made me want to embrace that part of my identity. This trip also strengthened my resolve to become a stronger advocate for women’s rights. Seeing the way certain female family members were treated by men didn’t sit well with me. Witnessing groups dealing with injustices for no reason other than the way the system is set-up is what I’m fighting against. It’s what's motivated me to champion women's rights, diversity and inclusion, and cultural intelligence (CQ). Developing CQ has helped me navigate seemingly complex situations, made me a lot more open minded, and helped improve my intercultural communications skills. As a result of this, when interacting with others I’m more aware of the need to reflect on how my experiences could influence my perspectives of them, and the areas I need to work on in order to have respectful and meaningful interactions. It’s funny because when I think back to my childhood I was the kid always asking questions, my mum even called me the “why?” kid. But I wholeheartedly believe if we ask questions to understand our behaviour and what’s going on around us, we are better equipped to address the complex situations we face. Ultimately, it’s about being open to having difficult and courageous conversations with yourself and one and another. Be willing to reflect on events in your life and contemplate how you could have dealt with them better. Without acknowledging the traumas of the past, the history of what has taken place, you cannot properly move forward. It’s a long, slow, and gruelling journey. Cultural Intelligence or Cultural Quotient (CQ) is a term used in business, education, government and academic parlance as the capability to relate and work effectively across cultures. Today, Cultural Intelligence is attached to a more blended understanding of cultures across borders and its application at home ground level. With change comes the need to understand and accept changes. The cultural change has caught on so rapidly, that a completely new mindset needs to be adopted or absorbed to be able to move with the flow. Today it is no longer one religion, one country, one set of people. In fact, if we look at today’s workplace, one can find people from different parts of the world, working together as a team. A big brother could convince all his small brothers and sisters that a wealthy boy in their neighbourhood was very bad because he bullied his own siblings in his family, let’s go beat him up, one morning, the wealthy boy’s mansion was damaged, actually the big brother was interested at the pomegranates at this mansion’s backyard, some of his siblings left to stay in Western countries, the family could be separated, but one thing they never gave up was saffron rice. I always wonder why the big brother can’t mind his own business even his family is so sick now, instead still want to fight, l heard now the big brother is interested to eat lychees, but let me tell you, if you are interested in eating Lychees from Chinese, please do in Chinese style, if you send them a basket of apples, they will surely send you two baskets of lychees, but if you try to splash them with hot water to hurt them, do be careful, it is the largest family on earth, they have to manage their family differently or else they could be the one got the most Covid19 cases on earth with 1.4 billions population! I can cook authentic Persian style saffron rice, even Persian can’t tell it is cooked by a Chinese.
