One of my favourite sights while walking around Stamford is seeing the ponies in the field 💚 @margotandflorenceminihorses Another would be the Peregrine falcons flying high above the spire of All Saint’s church, or all the variety of dogs that you see out and about around town, in pubs and on the meadows. Animals just make the world a better place, don’t they? “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” - Anatole France Ps: fun fact, did you know you can go inside All Saints Church and watch the falcons on a screen that’s attached to a camera in their tower? Females tend to lay a clutch of 3 - 5 eggs in the spring and once the babies have hatched and need feeding, you may be lucky enough to see this on the screen. This is Harry… 🐩 He came to our cute little town to enjoy a holiday w/his paw-rents who were celebrating their “50th Wedding Anniversary” on Valentine’s Day! 💌 💒 @laubergecarmel They had a photographer 📸 taking professional photos of them all & I helped w/Harry to get him to pose so they could get some great shots all together. 🐶 Say…”4 Paws 🐾 Up” 📷 While they came to enjoy the Michelin Star ⭐️ restaurant @auberginecarmel like so many others on this lovely Valentines night in celebration. We did a little mini photo shoot for them w/just Harry on the gorgeous canopy bed 🛏️ in their historical European style room where you feel like you have been transported to Europe. Doors 🚪opened by a lovely greeter by hand 🤚 for you when you come & go. 🦮 Harry just loved the bed & like a little regal ‘king’ made it his own. 👑 They will have some great memories of what Harry’s Valentines was adventuring around Carmel-by-the-Sea to also mark the occasion. 🎥 🐩💕 He’s a sweet little guy & loved to adventure around town to @diggiddydog for some ❤️ treats. We stopped by a few art 🖼️ galleries before heading down Ocean 🌊 to the beach. It started raining on us when we got there so we headed back winding around the neighborhood back to @laubergecarmel so he wouldn’t mess up his gorgeous hair do on Valentines. 💌 They loved their 6 course meal & how I took such loving care of Harry to have his good time in Carmel-by-the-Sea on 💘 night that they also brought me roses 🌹 🌹 🌹 which was so very sweet of them! . We popped into Tombstone for a quick visit. This quirky, dog friendly town is a registered national historic site. There isn’t much here unless you’re a wild west history buff … which we are not. The San Pedro National Recreation Area outside of town was more our scene and we enjoyed a couple of hikes there in between collecting Amazon parcels from Sierra Vista. Pictures in order: 1. Welcome sign. 2. Courthouse. 3. Town saloon. 4. Site of the infamous gunfight. 5. Longest running newspaper in the west. 6. Legendary honky-tonk Bird Cage Theatre. 7. Trolley tours available. 8.
