Oh we've been so spoilt with sunshine ๐ recently. After not seeing the sun for months and just having day after day of rain and mizzle, it's great to have days like this and Porthcothan is certainly showing off. This gorgeous bay is at the beginning of Trevose headland, between Parkhead and Treyarnon Bay. With a carpark just off the road and a flat path down to the beach. There is a great shop @porthcothanbaystores and amenities just behind the beach. At high tides the beach hides under the sea, but as it recedes a large area is revealed with great caves and pools to investigate. Flat access to the beach and a sloping pathway down onto it. The stores have a sand mobility chair from @cornwall_mobility , allowing greater access to the beach. As you can see dogs are allowed on the beach all year around. We got to bring the pups to the beach today and it was AH-MAZING! We had 3 little humans with us too and it was windy and chilly but everyone had a great time. It was Poundcakes first time and Shobys 1st time back since the keys. Shoby is just about 15 now and has been showing his age lately so weโve been trying to give him โbest daysโ lately.
