Tried Paseo and Centrico tonight in Downtown Disney. The food was earthy, warm, flavorful. We had Queso fundido, cocktails, and the chile relleno. Meeting Chef Carlos was the highlight I highly recommend! I would suggest a few more vegetarian options. I'm doing vegetarian foods to help with tummy issues, so I think more options should be available to accommodate more patrons. The drinks at the bar were strong and better than in the restaurant. Centrico soft-open! This is the bar that replaced UVA at Downtown Disney. It officially opens May 2 but you may stumble upon a soft opening. Be patient because the staff is still in training! I ordered a classic margarita and asked if they could add guava syrup (seen on the menu in other drinks). It gave my margarita a pretty pink color which I wasn’t expecting but perfect for me! My meal is the Cesar salad with chicken. It came with waaaaay too much dressing and I find it annoying when you have to cut up your own lettuce 🙄 Like I’m paying $24, c’mon. Other than that it was good 😂 My friend got the lamb quesadillas and side of rice. Also got a peek inside Paseo when I went to the restroom. The kitchen is downstairs and the bar upstairs is super small. Kinda sad overall about the changes to these two locations. But also happy to have new restaurants open to help with crowds. The vibe at Centrico is stellar, I love the fire pits and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Not sure how often I’ll end up here due to the price-to-food ratio. This are also saved in my IG Highlights because it is a static place you can look for my posts. ‼️READ THROUGH FOR DETAILS An Unofficial Privately run Disneyland day is an event organized and run privately within one or both parks with meet ups at certain areas at certain times. Make note of timing and locations for Group Photos as some events have large attendance numbers (Like Nurses Day did😳😁) and it will impact that specific area anywhere from 15 to possibly 30 minutes depending on how long it takes to get together and snap that photo. 👉🏻Some have attraction takeovers too and be sure you make note of those times and locations as they could impact the attraction and the surrounding area. I included CHOC Walk in the official list because this one is more of a shared event. The UNOFFICIAL events will NOT affect park hours but may impact certain areas in their schedules, as I mentioned above, so BE PREPARED and aware of the day’s events by checking their Facebook, Instagram, or websites for details. I’ve put the private events’ website and Instagram information in the slide for reference. The Disneyland OFFICIAL after hours events affect hours and they are SEPARATELY ticketed events like Star Wars Nite and Pride Nite. These two will BOTH close Disneyland Park to regular guests at 8pm each event night.
