One of my shamanic journeys with Broom focussed on the sacral chakra. Spiralling in I became aware of a spiders web and the goddess Ariadne resided at the centre. ‘I am that which you seek and that which you fear – your raw creative power that society and your upbringing teaches you to stifle, ignore and bury. This is where you are taught by those who would have you locked into the hamster wheel of working, that any work is important for you to have money, to buy things, in order to feel happy. In truth, the freedom you seek actually occurs in reverse. Happiness is a state of mind and needs to be cultivated first, in order to create what you love including ways of earning money - an outward manifestation of love. Being happy is attainable by sinking deep within your sacral and surrendering to guidance from the Goddess which will be in alignment with your soul, bubbling up like a spring and directing your focus. This takes practise as we are taught to act from ideas originating in our mind which generally is ego. This can bring temporary happiness when we create from here but is not deep soul fulfilment.’ In our shamanic journey next Friday for Beltane, we will be asking Broom to clear our sacral chakra in order to access our raw creative power – creating for the sheer delight it brings in the moment. Paddy Boy and I put our #FairyGarden together yesterday. I search out #thriftstorefinds all year and add them to our garden. This year Patrick and i glued beads inside a copper kettles and added some glitter. We strung beads and attached them to an old watering can to give the illusion of water falling. The flowers will Ge added after Mother's Day as is my tradition. In May 1st #beltane i will shoo the house sprites and fairies out of my house and welcome them into their summer home. #I❤️mygrandsons.
