With the winter hiking season all wrapped up, now it’s time to clean gear and go through inventory for the summer months. I did not get out nearly as much as I had hoped this winter, but as March was coming to an end, I got to spend a few hours on the LT after a fresh snow fall. It was an absolute gem of a day with sunshine and clear skies. I got to test out the new #tubbs on the hike up to Duxbury Window and even got some butt sledding in on the way down! Can’t wait for the trails to reopen in June. It's astronomical how far I have come as a rider in only 2 seasons. Really wasn’t feeling like skiing today. In fact, didn’t even want to leave my bed. “Woke up” to a bad depressive PTSD episode and just stayed in bed. Rolled around for over 2 hrs before finally hopping in the shower. Too late to head over to Winter Park. Was always told to save ABasin for Bluebird days. But it was more convenient to go there so I could at least get some fresh air and skiing in.
