Core Memories being unlocked this week💙 Bryson got his first stamp on his passport at the age of one and he is living it up in Punta Cana. When I decided to partner with Bodi 8 years ago I knew the trips would be something I really worked for because I love to travel but I never imagined being able to take my son (and 2 guests) out of the country at the age of one to an all inclusive resort paid for by this company because I worked my butt of. 730 days Bryson’s first birthday was certainly a milestone in its own right and we were blessed to celebrate it with friends and family back home in WV. Rewind 730 days from these photos- exactly two years- to the day we matched with a birth mom for the first time. It marked the start of a wild season— so many major life events together- pregnancy, birth, having a newborn daughter for six weeks, losing a child, overcoming the huge emotional and financial challenge of restarting our adoption journey, the loss of my grandfather, a marathon, loss of my cat… then a sudden trip to Houston to meet Bryson and journey home… and then the trials and tribulations of being a new parent, working, and going through all the steps of finalizing an adoption. And so little sleep. I feel sometimes like if this had been a movie, no one would actually believe it. Sometimes -I- don’t believe it. Yet here we are with a beautiful one year old and a complete family, it wasn’t easy, but it happened exactly the way it needed to. Had any of it happened differently, we would not be where we are today. So I’m grateful for all of it, despite the fact that I’ve got a lot more gray hair and weigh a few more pounds than I did 730 days ago. In sort of a fitting full circle moment, we spotted the original birth mom we matched with and our daughter in the store the day before Brysons birthday. I believe the universe doesn’t make mistakes, and I wonder if it was a way of marking a time of transition. A tip of the hat that she’s ok and we did some good in her life. I’m looking forward to the next 730 days. Hopefully it will feature a few less major life events and it can be a time to settle into my new role- and a time to get back to some basics of health and wellness that will support being the best I can be. No matter the season you’re in, let’s be better by the end of it together! Where do you want to be 730 days from now?

I found every excuse as to why things didn’t work for me. Why I couldnt lose weight or keep it off, why my business was a little stalled, why I would never get out of debt, etc etc. I said this was my year to RECLAIM…Well I am about 13 pounds down and feeling better about myself and my health then I have in years. Losing weight happily and in a healthy way that isn’t complicated or restrictive. I started the 2B mindset super block on January 1st and my workout program is Dig Deeper with Shaun T! I am feeling so much slimmer and all around FIT! Confidence is coming back and I am reclaiming ME! I am running a March Madness challenge in my healthy hero virtual community and I want new 10 people to join me. Three March Options: 1. A new barre workout program that I filmed in November as a background cast member 2. Nutrition Focus (2B mindset simple nutrition deep dive with me and exercise is optional) 3. Choose your own adventure (we figure out what workout, nutrition, mindset, etc you want to do for the results you want). So, who wants to jump in for March?
