From sketch to #wip This one is called Our Lady of the Flowers. It’s got a long long way to go but I thought I’d share a progress pic to keep me honest. I had a lot of fun hand printing these papers, to get the patterns I used wood block, rubber stamps, tin foil, acrylic paint diluted with ink and also stickle bricks. I love the rigidity of collage paired with the wild uncontrollable results of the Gelli printing process. Papers never turn out the way I expect, and when I cut them they have less flow and look much bolder than the original sketch. I love it so much. Collage is THE best. I’m working only in pink and green this time which is proving way more challenging that I initially thought it would, but I love the constraints of a limited palette so I shall forge on ahead! Gestaltet hat sie es mit dem Motiv "Mini Oddball Bee Kid" von #stampingbella Für den Hintergrund hat sie einen #gelliprint weiter mit Masken und schwarzer und goldener Acrylfarbe bearbeitet. Das Tag wurde anschließend mit den #aallandcreate Stanzschablonen "Intrictatags" ausgestanzt. Birgit Koopsen Gel Printing Challenge - Color Conspiracy 2024 - Day 4 Drama color palette for me, too many colors and the combination didn't suit me either. Tried a lot, with cheap paint and with Talens paint, the results were soulless. In a last attempt, I didn't think and plan anything in advance, but just did what came to mind. 1st layer: turquoise blue, vermilion, persian rose, permanent green deep 2nd layer: pull with titanium buff deep 3rd: stamp with permanent green deep Pull with matte medium Printed on 80 grams copy paper
