Some clematis bloomed, their colors are beautiful.👍 When more flowers bloom, I’ll be able to enjoy collaboration with roses. Die brede interesse sijpelt ook door in haar studie, op dit moment twijfelt ze tussen een master Geneeskunde en een master Antropologie. Voor Yvonne zal dit Holland Festival haar allereerste keer zijn. Zij kijkt ernaar uit om met HF Young het festival te ontdekken en door de ogen van ‘de nieuwe bezoeker’ te kijken. Yvonne: “..al van jongs af aan ga ik heel fanatiek naar musea en voorstellingen, waar ik als klein meisje met veel bewondering naar schilderijen keek maar daar zag ik mezelf nooit afgebeeld. Ik ben blij dat er nu steeds meer onderwerpen getoond worden waar ik mij als gemengd persoon mee kan identificeren. Naast haar master Klassieke Talen, werkt ze als beleidsmedewerker bij het Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschap en zet zich actief in als onderdeel van de HF Young Circle. Fenna houdt zich al sinds kleins af aan bezig met kunst en cultuur en is daarom regelmatig te vinden in musea, theaters en culturele broedplaatsen. Fenna: “..In de afgelopen jaren heb ik verschillende voorstellingen van het Holland Festival bezocht. Deze hebben me nieuwsgierig gemaakt naar de grote variëteit aan genres en thema’s die het festival biedt. Fenna: "...In recent years I have visited several Holland Festival performances. These have made me curious about the wide variety of genres and themes the festival offers. Something that really attracts me at the moment is the intersection between non-Western and Western art; in what ways can they enrich each other and contribute to the cultural emancipation of society?" In zijn vrije tijd leest hij graag en hij is een enthousiaste bridgespeler. Basak is voor het tweede jaar op rij onderdeel van de HF Young Circle en vertelde ons onlangs dat het uiteenlopende programma van het @hollandfestival elk jaar weer indruk op haar maakt en dat de verschillende kunstenaars uit het programma haar inspireren in haar werk én als persoon. Haar wens voor het festival? “..Ik zou graag zien dat het Holland Festival een nog groter publiek bereikt zodat meer mensen dat magische en transformerende gevoel kunnen ervaren dat alleen kunst kan geven."
