LEGO 6067 (year 1986) variant. Guarded Inn. Wachhaus in German. Faithfully detailed recreated, stable constructed and carefully improved. All used parts are included in the set. I build this according to the variant shown on the original packaging. It is one of my favourite variants of the set, which has so many creative variants. I used the creative scope to design the hidden side of the building with constructive details. For me it is important to make it style consistent. I added a plastic red protruding part of the building in the middle of the wall, which bears the roof. I used the black slope parts for the basis. Also the door on the left side does probably not exist in the original. This set has universal range of standard parts, which makes it very flexible. LEGO 6085 (year 1989) variant. Black Monarch's Castle. Burg des schwarzen Ritters. Faithfully detailed recreated and stable constructed. All parts are included in the set. I build this according to the variant shown on the original packaging. It is one of my favourite variants. The fact that this variant is also shown on the front of the original manual means to me that this is what LEGO had chosen as the second most beautiful. What is mostly the problem with this variants, is that a single picture does not show every detail of the model, mostly only one side of it and no constructive details, which leaves some creative space. For me it is important to make it style consistent. I added a fitting surrounding wall on the side which is not shown in the picture wity that big oriel windows in the 2nd floor and the narrow window in Moorish style In the 3th floor. Also the interiour with the chimney fireplace and the gallery are fictional added. The guy sitting inside is eating bread. Amazing what is possible with standard parts from 1989! In the end I was able to build a jail an a well with the leftover parts. The helmet of the guy resting inside the castle makes the bucket for the well. Walcot followed the call of the Mighty Lion Empire to set off for the Tournament. And he was certain of Victory. Not knowing the Way, he meets Bruno, the handsome bard with the Cittern, on the Way. And his Brilliant Partner Mort.......er doesn't talk much but he always knows what to do :) . He asks these two for Directions and they have turned the Signpost round for fun. And since Walcot didn't pay Attention in Traffic Lessons, he wouldn't have been able to read it anyway. And so Bruno and Mort are able to show the Falcon the Wrong way straight into the Wilderness.
