Ice Planet Console - Here is my latest 3D project, the printed 1x2 tile seen in the Ice Planet LEGO sets reimagined as a Borderlands style asset. This was a ton of fun to make! I had built an upscaled, life size version of the tile out of LEGO bricks 3 years ago (you can see it on my Instagram page if you scroll down a bit) so I used a lot of those design choices as a base to model this version. The high poly + low poly models were made fully in Blender, baked and textured in Substance Painter, and then back to Blender for rendering (Eevee) and compositing. Lego Technic 42158 NASA Mars Rover Perseverance ages 10+ $99.99 total piece count 1132 Finally got the chance to build this set!!! I’ve been real excited and sure enough it did not disappoint! This gem 💎 of a find can be found new usually in stores priced at $99.99. However, if you’ve seen my previous vlog when I go to Walmart, I found one in the clearance section for $85 USD. The reason of it being there was as you recall, the exterior, the box was slightly damaged. The inside was in tact, new and sealed. A lot of engineering when into this, they got the rocker boogie wheels set spot on and works amazing! This set comes with four steering wheels of which you are able to be rotate in the yaw direction. There is a knob lever that allows to perform this function. The other function is using the knobs on the rear of the RTG to extend the boom of the arm from the tucked in position to extending the arm out complete. You do have to manually position the last half. It also includes its companion helicopter, Ingenuity. The knob works but it is very sensitive; if you nudge any of the wheels it translates to the other wheels. Also, since the linkage only goes so far for each of the 4 driving wheels, the inherent slop in the Lego Technic gears, u-joints, and joint slips add up, which makes it difficult to adjust. A quick solution for this is to lift the rover up and then move the knob to reset it. You’ll get what I mean, once in action. The arm is another engineering marvel but it does have instrument clusters that throws the center of gravity off, once you have it fully extended, using the knobs on the back may be a bit hard to move. The door slid open, and she ran down the dimly lit hall as fast as she could, hoping to put as much distance between herself and the intruders as possible. But then, she heard another set of footsteps following her and the screech of metal on the ground. She froze in her tracks, reaching for her pistol she turned around to fire at whoever was behind her. LEGO set 31132 - gallery part 3 - the last one. 🇵🇱 / 🇬🇧🇺🇲 🇵🇱 Muszę powiedzieć że jestem bardzo pozytywnie zaskoczony tym zestawem. 🔥 Nie miałem wygórowanych oczekiwań, natomiast sam proces budowania (zbudowałem na razie tylko statek z dostępnych modeli) był bardzo przyjemny, mimo że nieco powtarzalny - w końcu statek jest symetryczny. Podczas budowy miałem wrażenie budowania w miarę prostego statku LEGO space, tylko dla wikingów, a to wszystko zostało podlane pirackim klimatem. 🏴☠️ Wisienką na torcie jest wąż morski, którego konsekwentnie nie zauważałem i myślałem że jest dodany na siłę. 🐍O jakże się myliłem! Ale to już myślę sami zobaczycie na zdjęciach. 📸 Minusem na pewno jest mała liczba figurek i akcesoriów do nich, ale seria creator skupia się jednak na nieco innych aspektach zabawy niż większość zestawów LEGO. Przez małą liczbe figurek statek może się wydawać pusty, ale już coś na to poradzę 😏 Moja ocena: mocne 7/10. 🇬🇧🇺🇲 I must say that I am very positively surprised by this set. 🔥 While I didn't have exorbitant expectations, the building process itself (I've only built a ship from the available models so far) was very enjoyable, even if a bit repetitive - after all, the ship is symmetrical. During the building process I had the impression of building a fairly simple LEGO space ship, just for Vikings, and it was all watered down with a pirate vibe.🏴☠️ The icing on the cake is the sea serpent, which I consistently overlooked and thought was added by force. 🐍 Oh how wrong I was! But this I think you will see for yourself in the photos. 📸 The downside is certainly the small number of figures and accessories for them, but the creator series, however, focuses on slightly different aspects of play than most LEGO sets. My favorite LEGO® color has been Dark Turquoise (aka Teal) for just about as long as I can remember. It first showed up in 1998 and I remember it fondly from the many of the Rock Raiders sets of that era. During my dark ages, though, LEGO® created a color called Dark Azure which may very well have taken the top spot on my list! Since it’s not an extremely common color, it honestly wasn’t on my radar until I happened to come across some pieces in this color from a used lot, but I can honestly say that it is one of the most beautiful (if not THE most beautiful) LEGO® colors I’ve ever seen! #lego #legofan #legocolor #legomaniac #legocollector

I made the classic space version of the Blacktron 6941 Battrax. I changed it here and there, mainly adding bits and pieces. Of course the wheels are much bigger as on the original they are too small in my opinion.The cockpit was open, in my head it can be possible in space, so I changed that. And it it a crew of 2, as the cockpit is big enough. I also kept it modular but I don't like the result.
