Die Minifigurenpakete von @bluebrixx_group aus der Piratenreihe sind da. 🏴☠️🤩 Die Drucke, insbesondere die Kopfbedruckungen, sind im Vergleich zu den Kids Sets aus dem vergangenen Jahr deutlich besser. Auch Stressmarken an den Beingelenken konnte ich im Gegensatz zu den Kids Figuren nicht feststellen. Die Zubehörteile, wie Schulterstücke oder Rucksäcke passen optisch nicht so ganz zu den Minifigs. Das mag auch daran liegen, dass die Formen ursprünglich für die ehr kantigen dänischen Minifiguren entwickelt wurden. Vllt gibt es perspektivisch neue Moulds, die direkt auf die BB Figuren abgestimmt sind. Die Sets enthalten aber nicht nur die Minifiguren, sondern auch viel nützliches Zubehör. Von Ruderbooten und verschiedenen Kisten bis hin zu Kanonen ist alles verstellbare dabei. Insgesamt bekommt man pro Minifigurenpaket je 8 Minifiguren und viele sinnvolle Accessoires für knapp 12€. Sunset Launch - As the sun sets, the ground crews of Oasis Outpost prepare the LL-962 Aegis Expedition Starfighter for launch. Captain Knight and Commander Stargazer take in the sight before climbing onboard for their latest scouting mission of Planet Oasis. The is the 3rd iteration of my personal favorite spaceship MOC. Originally built in 2015 and named the Arrow, this newest version, now retconned the Aegis, is the main ship of Nova Team. Even their logo sports a silhouette of this craft. For years I wanted to upgrade this ship. Back then I just emerged from my original dark ages and was new to MOC building as an AFOL. While I loved the design, the detail and building techniques were lacking. So while this version has much of the same proportions and design elements as the original 2015 version this is an entirely new build from the ground up. What initially came across to me as yet another bit of empty nostalgia bate turned out to be.. a surprisingly endearing legacy film. It borrowed things from the original film in a way that could have felt tacky and uninspired, but threw a fresh coat of paint on some of the fun and wacky things about the franchise while tactfully treating those things like they’re not silly. It’s Ghostbusters! One of those things was certainly Gozer, the sort of Villain behind the scenes for both the original 1984 film and Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The character was treated almost entirely the same between the two films nearly 40 years apart. The look of the character remains easily recognizable in the new film, but with some cosmetic changes that make her a bit more menacing and a little less… well, like they covered her in plastic bubbles and silly string. This figure is pretty definitely based on Gozer’s appearance in Afterlife in which she is portrayed by Olivia Wylde. We see all of that rigid and organic-looking texture across her torso and legs that took the place of the cloudy bubbly look from the original film, plus we see designs on the facial prints such as the makeup designs on the forehead similar to those on Wylde’s version. However, the figure borrows one of the more iconic facial expressions seen on the original character with the wide open mouth, and this ties it all together as a solid depiction of the character overall that is comprised entirely of official LEGO parts with the exception of a custom hair piece.
