O Dia da Bicicleta é comemorado como o dia em que o cientista suíço Albert Hofmann descobriu os efeitos da substância psicodélica dietilamida do ácido lisérgico, também conhecida como LSD. Embora o Dia da Bicicleta tenha ocorrido em 19 de abril de 1943, não foi o primeiro encontro de Hofmann com LSD. Em 1938, Hofmann sintetizou o LSD pela primeira vez enquanto estudava as propriedades de um fungo do centeio chamado ergot. Ele procurava um composto que estimulasse o sistema nervoso como solução médica para o tratamento de dores de cabeça ou problemas respiratórios. Em 19 de abril de 1943, Hofmann decidiu usar a si mesmo como cobaia para descobrir os verdadeiros e completos efeitos do LSD. Ele ingeriu o que estimou ser uma dose normal de 0,25 mg, ou 250 microgramas, e a diluiu em água. Em meados de 2011, quando o mundo das decorações clamava por inovação, os decoradores e cenógrafos Pedro Gondim e Lucas Soares deram vida à Lysergic Dreams. Essa empresa surgiu da vontade de mesclar psicodelia e sustentabilidade, inspirados pelos festivais de música noturna que ecoavam pelo mundo. Com a missão de oferecer ao público experiências psicodélicas únicas, repletas de criatividade e consciência ambiental. A jornada começou quando Pedro e Lucas se uniram a Liano Dorneles, proprietário da Surya Eco Designer, e embarcaram em uma saga pelo Brasil. Juntos, montaram e deram vida a diversos palcos e tendas, levando sua arte a festivais europeus renomados, como o Boom Festival e o Forest Soul Gathering. De volta ao Brasil, não tardou para que suas experiências inspirassem grandes nomes da cena Psytrance. Participaram da montagem e decoração de eventos marcantes, como Universo Paralelo, Goa Gil, Zuvuya, Pulsar, Katay e Forest Family. Sempre comprometidos com a sustentabilidade, Pedro e Lucas desenvolveram técnicas inovadoras de instalação e montagem. Foram pioneiros na criação de palcos feitos com madeiras recicladas, resgatadas até mesmo de trombas d'água, e na reutilização de materiais encontrados nos locais de montagem das festas. Assim, a história da Lysergic Dreams se tece, trazendo consigo o brilho da criatividade, o compromisso com o meio ambiente e o encantamento de uma jornada única, onde cada cenário é uma experiência inesquecível para o público. #Lysergic Dreams
