Good news!!! Katie has successfully talked another one of her sisters into running VMA’s Instagram! (it didn't take much talking into ;) My name is Kinsey and I'm 15 years old. As the ninth child of eleven, there is never a dull moment. I am currently living in Boise ID and enjoy any sport, making memories with my siblings, and playing the ukulele, piano, and harp. From ages 7 to 10 I received piano lessons from kelsey….. But deep inside of me I have always known I wanted to play the harp for weddings in the future. Harp sort of runs in our family. There are 12 harpists on my moms side of the family, 4 of which are in our own family. When I began playing the harp, I was thrilled to find that the years of hard work at the piano paid off. The two instruments are the same in so many ways apart from the fact that one is vertical and the other horizontal. I have been playing the harp now for roughly a year and am more excited than ever to practice and learn new songs! Fun Fact About Me: I actually started playing piano 🎹 and learning music 🎶 theory since I was 2 years old. My mom popped me in mommy and me music classes as soon as she could and I actually continued my piano practice until I had passed my GRADE 8 piano 🎹 exam (or done something equivalent) like playing piano for friends in musical theatre school, teaching music classes, teaching voice and so on. I also wrote music theory exams, completed voice exams and my flute exams from RCM (the Royal Conservatory of Music) which honestly taught me courage, discipline, that hard work is well rewarded, that connecting to breath can get you through anything, and music 🎶 is incredibly healing ❤️🩹 It helped me with my anxiety. Gave me an outlet for my depression. Allowed me the space to express my rapid changing + deeply felt emotions. Showed me that healing was possible. Embraced me for who I was, broken or not. Provided a safe space for me to process my experiences. And so much more ❤️ I’m incredibly grateful and forever thankful to my mom for giving me this wonderful gift 💝 It’s gotten me through everything and even now, is giving me the courage to fight on each day no matter what comes my way ❤️🔥✨ Music is such a powerful thing 🥰 and I hope you allow it’s beauty to amplify your life too 🎶🎹🍾🎊💝💪🫶🔥❤️✨

I love paramore! Hayley Williams has been an inspiration for me for so long, (I play piano and try to play the guitar) and Ryan took me to see them in San Diego, when we lived there!
