An extra shout-out to Barry and Katrina for their help on Eastern Market’s side, too 🎉 . I also wanted to give an extra-special thanks to my husband Matt @mjtdc9 who helps me make things like Eastern Market happen — popping up a shop with tent (including hauling giant tent weights), tearing it down, fitting it in one’s car, and then fitting it all into an already-tight Capitol Hill row home is laborious, strenuous work. Then, while I get to enjoy the fun of operating the popup between setup and teardown, Matt watches the kids all day, making sure they are fed, get to scheduled activities, etc. So while I get to be the face of Erin Thompson Studio, he is always right there, patiently, supportively, and unceremoniously having my back. This morning my meditation felt fragmented as thoughts scurried across my mind, like clouds across a wind blown sky. ☁️ I’m excited and a little anxious about the present and the future. See today is my last class with @jrnicoaching, I’ve spent every Sunday for the last 5 months with an amazing group of people that I’ve come to respect and value deeply. They, no, WE are going to be amazing coaches. I see us like each of the cups, in the 10 of cups card that I drew this morning. Beams of light that connect to one another and the world around us. Helping people to breath and find their way, to, as my oracle card suggests, Come To Life. ☁️ And that is the exciting fun part. The twing that I’m having is because I don’t feel ready, h*ll I’m not ready. I have a few assignments to turn in, a website to revamp... the list is on going ... and in this moment, I’m reminding myself to just breath, to just do what needs to be done right now.
